Only One

I close my eyes, and dream the dream i've had before,

of the perfect girl, laying with me by the shore.

We sing and dance, and live our life of romance.

We were so lost, until that day we met.

And then i wake up with a cold welcome to my hell,

Where i'm alone at night, just one small man in one big world.

She's perfect in everyway.

Laughs at everything i say.

Smiles at me almost everyday.

It's plain to see that she's the Only One for me.

I walk in there, to see her starring me in the eye.

Just sitting there, is this a dream or have i died.

I'll take the chance, i dont want this moment to pass me by.

I'll greet myself as the man who's just been found.

Cloudy day's are clearing up, what once was dark is now my light

Im a little boy again, trying to capture Butterflies.

People come and people go, lives forgotten with nothing to show.

I hope i never become that way with a 2 page book with nothing to say.

Could this be my final page or could this be my starting point?
