Midnight Sun
It's a sunny day, out in the neighborhood. I walk along through the street. As I'm walking, i think about my whole life, and i put a smile on my face. Why am i smiling? i have no reason at all.
She had to go, and you're not feeling bright. You wonder why it had to end. And then you realize you don't even care about her. She's out of your mind. It's kind of funny how you don't even care at all.
It's the taste of life that keeps you moving. Not the problems or the solutions. You care to much about everything. Just take a look at me and you'll see that i don't care about anything. Your words, they mean nothing. What ever happened to sunny nights in the rain?
I look around, there's no one else to be found. I'm at peace with my own mind. It's time to go, let's not keep them waiting. Today's the best day of your life. Better get ready, the night has just begun.
Whatever happened to those days where I could talk a good look around see? Whatever happened to the Midnight Sun? Just open your eyes and you will see.
The evening comes, and we stare at the Midnight Sun. In a Midnight summers dream.
