Nick Carter slowly walked through the house that he once shared with his girlfriend, Hailee Carpenter, looking at the stuff that belonged to her as he listened to her favorite song and CD, "Just For Tonight," by Vanessa Williams. For tonight was the one year anniversary of her death in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Hailee was the one that lighted up Nick's life, the one he could share everything with, and the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
Nick walked into the bedroom that he and Hailee shared and slowly sat down on the bed. Listening to that song, it made Nick feel like finally forgiving God and asking him, what he had wanted to ask since she had left him. Nick laid his head into his hands before saying to himself and to God: "God, I'm sorry that I haven't talked to you in a while and I have blamed you for Hailee's death but I am sorry. I just loved Hailee so much. She was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life. If I could only have one more night with her to tell her how much I love her. I love Hailee and she was my one true love. The one who knew me for me. In your name, I pray. Amen."
As Nick finished his prayer, Nick undressed before slowly laying down on the bed and covering himself with the blanket that he and Hailee once shared. Nick fell into a dreamless, restless sleep.

Hailee watched from her spot in heaven at the tears that fell from Nick's eyes as he laid in their bed. Hailee sat there with tears in her own eyes as her guardian, Sierra, came to talk to her.
"Lee?" Sierra said to her.
"Yeah," she said still watching Nick.
"I just came from HIM and HE told me to tell you that HE is giving you a second chance. HE has seen how much Nick loves you and how much you love Nick. But the deal is that if anyone one of you fall out of love, you will be brought back here and you will never be able to see Nick again," Sierra said to her.
"Oh my gosh, is that right?" Lee asked her.
"Yes, and the memory of the accident will be erased from everyone's mind except Nick and yours. You will both know the deal and I know that you will forever be with him," Sierra said to Hailee as she hugged her. "Promise me one thing, that you will always have love."
"I will, Si. And thank you for your guidance and your friendship," Hailee said to her before she was taken to the bedroom that she shared with Nick.

Hailee took her right hand and softly rubbed her fingers against his soft shoulder, which was exposed by the blanket. Hailee could hear a slight moan escape from Nick's lips as she softly brushed her lips against his shoulder. The soft kiss to his shoulder caused Nick to turn around and softly open her eyes.
"Hi," he said softly and sleepily.
"Hi, baby," Hailee said to him before Nick realized that she was truly sitting there with him.
"Oh my gosh, Lee? It is really you," Nick said before hugging her.
"Yeah, Nick," she said to him. "But you know the deal that he had given us."
"What deal?" Nick asked her.
"Just try to remember. It will come to you," Hailee said to him.
Nick sat there a few seconds before it came to mind and he said, "The deal is that if anyone one of us falls out of love, we will be brought back here and you will never be able to see me and I will never be able to see you again."
"Right," Hailee said to him.
"Lee, that will never happen. I love you too much for that to happen," he said to her. "I was even gonna give you this the day that you died but now, I can. Hailee Carpenter, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
Nick was holding a ring box in his hand and Hailee began to cry before slowly nodding her head to him as she softly said, "Yes, I will."
"I love you, Hailee," Nick said before putting the ring on her finger.
"I love you," Hailee said to him.
Nick softly brushing his lips against hers before softly rolling so that he was laying on top of her. Nick broke their kiss as he slowly moved his lips down the soft curve of her neck, knowing that she loved the feeling of his lips brushing her throat, as she let out a soft moan. He softly brought his lips to the top of her nightshirt before breaking his kiss, long enough to pull off her shirt. After removing her shirt, he kissed the plane of skin between her two round, perky breasts. He could feel her heart beating against his lips and relished in the moment before turning to pay attention to her breasts.
Hailee let out a soft, sweet moan as Nick's cold tongue circled her now hard nipple as he softly began to suck on her perky peaks. Nick softly broke their kiss before letting his lips drift to her ear, where he softly whispered, "I'll make love to you, like you want me to, all through the night, for your wish is my command." Nick looked eyes with Hailee and could see the glow of love in her eyes, knowing the answer to his unspoken question.
Hailee welcomed his lips against hers as she felt him slowly enter her. Nick softly started to thrust against her, wanting this to last as long as possible. Nick softly began to kiss her neck as Hailee's hips thrusted against his causing him to go faster and deeper into her. Hailee softly wrapped her legs around his back, loving the feel of their up and downward motion, but she softly began to moan as her climax began to come. Nick softly kissed her against her lips as he felt her begin to tighten around him, knowing that she would come soon. Hailee softly groaned into his mouth as she came, causing him to go faster which brought his own release within her.
The two of them softly kissed as they laid against each other, catching their breaths before Nick softly pulled out and rolled off her, not wanting to crush her. He easily pulled Hailee up next to him before softly kissing her forehead as they settled down. The two of them softly whispered "I Love You" to each other before finally dozing off into a peaceful sleep in each other's arms after he had pulled the soft wool blanket over them.
