CAFE OF LOVE - Brian Story

Cafe of Love

By Sierra Carter-Littrell

***********

The rising sun was carefully lifting the hazy fog as a lonely, young man walked down the yet not-so business streets of Paris, France. The morning rush hour would start in less than an hour but he didn't care.

As a young couple passed him, he pulled his baseball cap further over his face, so no one would recognize him. He knew if anyone noticed him that he would be in major trouble but the way his luck was going he would be any ways.

The last few months had been horrible for him, his long-time girlfriend breaks up with him saying that she can't take his life anymore and that she has found someone who will be around when she needs him. But he couldn't help it, traveling was his job, his career, his life. And now, he had to watch as two of his best friends basked in the love of their recently found soul mates, as they call them.

Soul mates? That is a strange word, he thought to himself. People say that somewhere in the world is a person that is their other half. The person that would know you for you. Yeah, and I thought that I found her.

The young man softly sighed to himself before noticing that he was passing a small corner cafe, called Le Amour, that was already open. His stomach softly rumbled reminding him that he hadn't ate since last night.

It will just be a little breakfast. Who cares what they think? he said to himself before going into the cafe. He noticed that there weren't very many people in the place, which was good on his behalf, but he did notice one particular person.

A girl, who looked about his age, was sitting in a corner booth looking as if she had lost a part of her life, too. As he was walking up to the counter, she looked up and caught him looking at her. He softly smiled at her and watched as she softly smiled back before turning to order his breakfast.

The young girl sat in the corner of the cafe concentrating on something as the bell on the cafe door disturbed her. She looked up to see a young man come into the door. He was about 5' 8", strong built, but she couldn't see his face because the Kentucky Wildcats baseball hat, that he was wearing, was covering most of it. But she did notice his soft smile, which made her softly smile back.

She watched as he ordered his food and a cup of coffee before turning to find a place to sit. She quickly turned her head back to her drink, so that he wouldn't notice that she was still looking at him. She could softly hear the squeak of his Nikes on the hard wood floor and looked up as she noticed him standing beside her.

"Hi. Do you mind if I sit?" he asked her in the best French he could use but she could hear a soft southern accent.

"Uhh, sure," she told him as she grabbed her book bag from the seat, so that he could sit down. "But you don't have to speak French. I am an American, just like you."

"Thanks," he said to her as he slid into the booth. "What makes you think that I am American."

"You're welcome," she said to him. She was amazed with the color of his eyes as she watched him slowly lift his hat from his eyes. They were an amazing blue color that looked like the color of a clear blue ocean. She watched as he took a bite of his blueberry muffin before looking up at her.

"One thing is your Kentucky baseball cap. Plus, I recognize you," she told him.

"What do you mean 'recognize' me?" Brian asked her.

"Well, one, you are Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys. Plus, I went to school with you all my life until we graduated high school," she told him.

"What was your name?" he asked her.

"Charisma Carson," she told him.

"Ris, that really you," Brian said a little shocked to see an old friend in a little cafe in Paris, France.

"Yup," Charisma told him.

"It's been a very long time," he told her.

"Yes, it has," she told him. For another hour and a half, the two of them sat in the cafe catching up on stuff. She told him that she was in Paris working for a landscape company based in Orlando.

"Orlando?" Brian asked her.

"Yeah, about a year after high school, I moved to Orlando and got this job," Charisma told him.

"That's cool," he told her. "I, now, live in Orlando, too."

The two of them continued to talk for another hour until Charisma asked Brian, if he would like for her to give him a tour of the city, since he had only been there for one night.

"I would love that," Brian said to her before he got up and held his hand out to her.

"Great," Charisma said as she took his hand.

For the rest of the day, she gave him a tour of the city, stopping so often to get a picture of place that she needed for her assignment.

Later that evening, Brian was walking her to her hotel as he noticed that they were staying in the same hotel. Brian was amazed and led her to her room. The two of them were standing outside of her hotel room.

"I had a really nice time with you," Charisma told him.

"I had a great time, too. How about I meet you in the morning for breakfast?" Brian asked her.

"That sounds great," Charisma said to him. "Good night, Brian."

But before she could finish telling him good night, she felt his soft lips caress her lips in a kiss. She was a little shocked at first, but accepted the kiss.

"Good night, Charisma," Brian said to her. "I will see you in the morning."

Charisma watches as he leaves the floor on the elevator. As she opens her hotel room door, she leans against the inside of the door with a sigh, before thinking, I think that I'm in love.

************

Over the next few days, Brian and Charisma spend every waking moment with each other, falling more in love with the other. The night before they have to go back to their chaotic live as a "World Famous Pop Star" and an "Award Winning Photographer", Brian decides to give Charisma a night that she won't forget. That evening, Brian has a beautiful royal blue dress delivered to her room with a note, saying to meet him in the lobby at 7:30, that evening.

At exactly 7:30, Charisma is standing in the lobby waiting for Brian as he comes into the lobby in a black tuxedo with a blue shirt that matches her dress. Brian softly kisses her cheek before saying, "You look amazing."

"Thank you," she says before taking his arm, which he had extended for her to take. Brian leads her outside of the hotel, where a limo is waiting for them. The limo takes them to an expensive restaurant, known as the Jewel of Paris, where Brian had reserved the whole outside balcony for the two of them. From the balcony, a person has a breath-taking view of the glowing Eiffel Tower. The two of them enjoy a delicious dinner as music begins to play.

"May I have this dance?" Brian asks her.

"Yes," Charisma said as she wraps her arms around his neck as he wraps his around her waist.

The song playing is "More Than That", which Brian sings to her knowing that in the past that she had had some tough relationships.

I can see that you've been crying,
You can't hide behind the lies,
What's the use in you denying,
that what you have is wrong.

I heard him promise you forever,
but forever has come and gone.
Baby, he would say whatever
it takes to keep you alive.
Tell the truth between the lies.

Oh, I will love you more than that.
I won't say the words, then take them back.
Don't give loneliness a chance.
Baby, listen to me when I say,
I will love you more than that.

Baby, you deserve much better.
What's the use in holding on.
Don't you see it's now or never,
cause I just can't be friends,
knowing in the end.

Oh, I will love you more than that.
I won't say the words, then take them back.
Don't give loneliness a chance.
Baby, listen to me when I say,
I will love you more than that.

There's not a day that passes by,
I have not wondered why.
We never tried.
It's not too late to change your mind,
so take my hand and don't say good-bye.

I will love you more than that,
I won't say the words,
then take them back.

Oh, I will love you more than that.
I won't say the words,
then take them back.
Don't give loneliness a chance.
Baby, listen to me when I say,
I will love you more than that.

Later that evening, the two of them are taking a carriage ride around Paris as Brian speaks to her, "Charisma, I need to tell you something."

"Okay," she says to him.

"Well, Ris, I love you," Brian says to her.

"I love you, too, Bri. But I won't be able to stand it, if this week is all that we have together," Charisma said to him.

"No, baby, this is not all we have. I want you for more than a week," Brian said before taking something out of his pocket. Brian shows Charisma the locket before opening it for her to read:

BRIAN AND CHARISMA
TOGETHER, FOREVER, AND ALWAYS
PARIS - 2000

On the inside of the locket, there is a picture of the two of them holding each other in front of the Eiffel Tower. Brian puts the locket around her, saying, "This is my proof, that we will be together, forever and always."

"Thank you, Brian," Charisma tells him before she give him a hug as she softly kisses him.

**********

Charisma snuggled against his neck before she wrapped her arms around his neck as he carried her into his hotel bedroom. Brian softly opened the door with his foot before carrying her over to the waterbed that was near a set of French doors that lead to the balcony. He softly laid her on the bed and was about to cover them up as she stopped him.

"Now, my love, I am going to show you how much I love you," Brian said to her.

Hr softly leaned down as he brushed his lips against hers. Charisma sat up a little and softly ran her hands under the blue sweater that he was, now, wearing. She softly caressed his back before lifting the shirt over his head, breaking their eternal kiss for a second as the shirt was thrown to the side. The two of them shared soft kisses as the rest of Brian's clothes were discarded on the floor with the dress that Charisma had worn.

She welcomed him on the bed with her lips parting his as their tongues meet in a hot war. Brian leaned into her, gently laying her down on her back before pulling the cover slightly over them. Brian broke their kiss as he slowly moved his lips down the curve of her neck, knowing that she loved the feeling of his lips brushing her throat, as she let out a soft moan. He softly brought his kisses to the plane between her breasts and softly kissed where he could feel her beating heart before turning his attention to her breast.

Charisma let out a soft moan as he softly took one of her already hard nipples into his warm mouth before he softly began to lick, suck and kiss the one before turning to pay attention to the other. Brian softly kissed each nipple once more before moving down to the plane of her stomach, where he softly dipped his tongue into her belly button causing her to softly giggle.

Charisma's giggles soon became gasps as Brian reached down and softly spread her knees before he lowered his head to the place that she wanted him the most. He softly spread her lower lips before softly blowing on her passion area. Charisma softly moaned as he moved down and softly licked her sensitive area before thrusting his tongue into her. Charisma ran her fingers through his hair as she was about to have the ride of her life before Brian stopped, not wanting her to find a release, yet. Charisma was about to ask what was wrong, but knew the answer as she saw the passionate glow in Brian's eyes.

Brian softly crawled up her body, kissing certain wanted places before pressing his lips against hers. Brian softly positioned himself between her legs with his arms resting next to her, so not to lay too much weight on her, as he intertwined their fingers. Brian softly broke their kiss, letting his lips drift to her ear, where he softly whispered, "I will make love to you, like you want me to, all through the night, for the way, like the fire, girl, your wish is my command." Brian locked eyes with Charisma and could see the glow of love in her eyes, knowing the answer to his unspoken question.

Charisma welcomed his soft lips against hers as she felt him slowly enter her. Brian softly started to thrust against her, wanting this to last as long as possible. Brian softly began to kiss her neck as Charisma's hips thrusted against his causing him to go faster and deeper into her. Charisma softly wrapped her legs around his back, loving the feel of the up and downward motion of their bodies, but she softly began to moan as her climax began to come. Brian softly kissed her against her lips as he felt her begin to tighten around him, knowing that she would come soon. Charisma softly groaned into his mouth as she came, causing him to go faster which brought his own release within her.

The two of them softly kissed as they laid against each other, catching their breaths before Brian softly pulled out and rolled off her, not wanting to crush her. He softly pulled her into his arms, softly kissing her neck before softly mumbling to her, "I love you, Charisma." "I love you, too, Bri," Charisma whispered back before falling asleep in the arms of her true love.

***********

The next afternoon, both of them are walking out of the plane together as Brian sees Nick, who had come to take him home.

"Hey, Frick, what's going on?" Nick said to him. "Who's the lovely lady?"

"Nick, this is Charisma, my true and destined love," Brian said to him before the two of them kiss in the middle of the Orlando International Airport.
