For the past few months, AJ had been receiving letter from his father, who he had not spoken to in almost 5 years. After receiving so many letters, AJ decides to go and visit the address on the letter.
"Well, this is it," AJ says as he gets out of his Expedition and goes up to the front door. "Here goes nothing," AJ says before he rings the doorbell.
"Coming," a female voice calls out before a young girl opens the door. "Hello, may I help you?"
"Yes, I am looking for Robert McLean," AJ says to her.
"He's not here, but I can tell him that you came by. What is your name?" she says to him.
"AJ...I mean, Alexander McLean. I'm his son," AJ says to her.
"Oh my gosh, you are AJ. Dad, told me that you lived around here but I never thought that you would actually come and see him," she said to him.
"Dad?" AJ questioned.
"I'm sorry. I'm Sierra McLean," she said.
"I have a sister," AJ said before smiling.
"Actually, half-sister, but I am happy to finally get to meet you," she said to him. "Come on in. Dad, should be back at any time."

For the next few hours, Sierra and AJ were sitting in the kitchen chatting about their lives and AJ's career as Robert McLean called from the front door that he was home.
"Daddy," Sierra said running into the living room to greet him. "Daddy, we have a visitor. AJ, come on in here."
"AJ," Robert said as he saw his son walk into the living room.
"Hi, Dad," AJ said to him.
"Come here," Robert said to him as he held his arm out for his son to hug him. The two of them hugged before Sierra joined them getting into a family hug.
The three of them continued to chat and even had a great dinner together.

Over the next few months, AJ and Sierra became very close. Even though, AJ and his father had had a rough relationship, the two of them even began to get together every other week. Sierra had even meet the guys and started going out with Nick, who she was a year younger than.
One day, AJ was at the recording studio with the rest of the guys as his cell phone rang. "Hello, you have reached the Bone Daddy," AJ said answering the phone.
"AJ, it is your Dad. I just got a call from Sierra's school, they had to take her to the hospital," Robert told him. "She's at Orlando Memorial. I will see you there."
"Okay, Dad. I will be there in a few seconds," AJ said before hanging up the phone. "Guys, I gotta go. That was my dad. Sierra's at the hospital."
"Hang on, bro. We're coming with you," Nick said to him as the guys followed him.

As AJ and the guys arrived at the hospital waiting room, the doctor was just coming out of the examining room with news.
"What's wrong with my little girl, doc?" Robert said.
"I'm sorry, but Sierra's kidney's are failing due to her diabetes," the doctor said. "If she doesn't find a donor, she will certainly die. We already tested you, Robert, but we found that you are not a match."
"I'll do it," AJ says finally speaking.
"Son, you don't have to do this," Robert said.
"Yes, I do, dad. She's my sister," AJ said to him. "Doctor, test me."
"Okay, come this way," the doctor said leading him out of the waiting room.
***********
An hour later, the guys were sitting in Sierra's room with AJ and his dad, waiting for the results of the test. Every one was talking as the doctor came into the room.
"Excuse, Mr. McLean, we have the results of your test," the doctor told him.
"Yes, and?" he said to him.
"You are a match," he said, "and now, you have to decide..."
"Doc, I already decided that I want to do this," he said to the doctor.
"Okay, we will do the operation in 3 days," the doctor said before giving AJ some direction of what he has to do for the next few days.

Three days later, AJ arrives at the hospital with his suitcase and his mom. The two of them are in Sierra's room talking with her and his dad as a nurse comes into the room.
"Mr. McLean, I need to take you to your room so we can prep you," the nurse says to him.
"Okay," AJ says to him.
"Good luck, son. I will be praying for you," his mom said to him before watching as the nurse let him sit in the wheelchair that she had brought with her.
***********
About an hour later, AJ was being taken to the OR as his bed passed Sierra's. He asked the nurse to stop for a moment.
"Hey, Si, good luck in there," he told her,
"You, too, J. And thank you for everything," she told him.
"Don't mention it. That's what big brother's are for," he told her.
"I love you, J," she told him.
"I love you, too, Sierra," AJ said to her before they were taken to separate room. The surgery was over in 2 hours and was a complete success for both of the patients.

A few days later, AJ and Sierra were sitting in their shared hospital room giving an interview to a camera crew that had heard the story of what AJ had done for her.
"This is Barbara Simmons, telling everyone out there. Someday, you may be able to help a loved one and not even know it. This is Barbara Simmons with WORL News Channel 8. Back to you, Jack," the reporter said into the camera before turning to the two of them. "Hey, guys, thank you for the interview and good luck."
"Thanks," both of them said before the reporter and the camera crew left. The next day, he and Sierra are released with a clean bill of health.

A Year Later....
"Hurry up, guys," AJ yelled to Brian, Kevin, and Howie, who were following him into the maternity ward of Orlando Memorial Hospital. Just as they reached the waiting room to see his mom and dad, Nick came out of the two doors in a pair of green scrubs.
"Congratulations, grandparents and uncles, it's a girl," Nick said to them. "Come on."
Everyone followed him to a room, where Sierra was laying in the bed with a pink bundle in her arms. Nick sat down beside her before Sierra spoke.
"Everyone, I want you to meet our daughter, Alexandra Nicole Carter, named for her uncle and her daddy," Sierra said pulling back the blanket to show a beautiful little baby girl.
"Ahh, Congratulations, sis," AJ said to her before softly hugging her.
"Well, if it was for you, neither of us would be here," Sierra said. "So thank you, AJ."
"No problem. That's what big brothers are for," AJ said before laughing causing everyone else to laugh, too.
