Everyone loves music....

Sean Connery Approved
It was really quite by accident that I found this great band. As a music fan since before I can remember, I've been following the sounds of strumming guitars and floating voices. (haha! that actually sounds cool!) While on one adventure seeing another high-quality band, I found that I had just missed the best band in the world. Little did I know, it was quite true. Much waiting was done before I could actually see Sean Connery Approved, sure I had heard the songs on mp3.com and even gotten a special version of "it's so hard," but all those weren't nearly as good as actually being there to hear and see the REAL thing. I even ditched writting final papers and studying for massive life or death tests to see these guys, something I thought before hand to be a little on the silly side, but it was very much worth it. More fun, less work. ( ^_^ ) Great music, talented musicians and I can't wait for more!!!! Did you catch that? I said MORE!!!
Anyway, check out the stuff here: pictures, links, banners, and I'm sure I'll think of some more fun stuff to put here eventually. Maybe somethings like 'more content' - yeah, right.

The Northglenn/E.B. Rains Teen Music Fest! This place wasn't too far away from me, so I was glad there wasn't much driving to be done. Rochelle and I got there just about the same time as the boys and the Maggie(y)'s so that was pretty sweet timing!
The first band that was up were little seeming. The singer sounded like a girl, but they played really well I thought. Then it was Sean Connery Approved. It was a super set I thought. They even played Nothing Could Be Wrong, which I guess is a difficult song to play live. But I really liked it, and I thought it was played well. I realized that I really like Parade too. They had CD's which MaggY had done with a really COOL label. Rochelle and I had to get one, we were worried that we weren't going to get one. For a while no one seemed to buy any, but then towards the end all kinds of people came to snag a CD. (you know why? I do, it's because SCA is good)
The Maggy(IE)'s had cool shirts that they had made! Wicked Cool. ^_^ Rochelle and I got to hang out with them for a bit, and then even the SCA boys sat around with us (we think this is because we were with the cool maggie(Y)'s). The rest of the bands were pretty good. A good mix of all kinds of different music so that was really neat. Some of it I didn't like, but they were fairly good at what they did, even if all they did was scream. I did like the band Incignia.
MaggY has a didj and works in a glass studio, MaggIE is 16, Littleton is about an hour to an hour and a half from Northglenn, Andrew is a vegetarian and plays the harmonica, Nick changes song titles (dangerous life = dangerous wife) and knew that a band would mess up and start again, Chris well, I don't know if I learned anything else this time...

check out the pictures. (65 or so of them even!)

Everyone must see this picture!
It's from the Acoustic Coffee Lounge - it's my favorite picture (besides the feet one!) click to see THE picture
