"Hey" Chris smiled Joey waved like a dork. "Are you guys alright?" Nikki asked them "Yeah we're fine Justin is getting something on his arm but it isn't broken and JC...." Joey started JC came running to them. "There is no way I’m having a needle I’m fine" JC said cutting Joey off. They all laughed. JC was buttoning up his shirt. "So are you guys gonna tell us your names and things?" Chris asked sitting down. Wendi started telling them. "My name is Wendi This is D, Ki, E, Ames and Ames" She told them. "D, Ki, E, Ames?" Joey asked confused. Amy laughed "Translation Diane, Nikki, Erin and I'm Amy,” She told them
"OH" Joey nodded his head There was a silence. "So...." Diane said tapping her foot. "Um any one want a drink? My treat" JC said standing up. "Yeah I’d love a Dr pepper" Amy smiled "I'll come with you" She smiled again JC nodded. They got everyone else’s orders and walked to the canteen. "Thank you for everything today" JC said as they walked.
"It's fine you don't have to thank me" Amy told him "No really we saw how the paramedics pushed you out the way and it was you guys who did all the hard work really thank you I mean I could be dead you got me breathing again if you weren't there I wouldn't be here now" JC's eyes filled with tears. Amy stopped him and looked at him. "I guess everything has just sunken in right?" Amy asked him JC nodded as the tears fell. Amy wrapped her arms around him and slowly and gently his arms went round her back.
When JC stopped crying he pulled away and looked at Amy. "Thank you" he said quietly and he held out his arm for Amy to link on to. Amy smiled and they walked arm in arm down to the cafeteria laughing. Justin saw Amy and JC hugging when he was coming back from the room he was in. He ran over to the guys. "Yo y'all never guess what I just saw,” he said excitedly. Chris loved gossip. “What?” He asked excitedly “The blonde girl and JC hugging just a little bit away from the canteen” Justin told them. “Amy and JC? Nah you must have seen wrong” Diane told him
“No way y’all it’s true I saw them,” He told them “It was just a hug,” Wendi said “Well…. you never know with JC” Joey said Wendi shook her head. Amy and JC got the drinks and made their way to the others. They passed out the drinks. Seeing as Justin didn’t have a drink Amy gave him hers she wasn’t really thirsty any more. They had all decided they wouldn’t’ say anything to Amy and JC about what Justin had seen but Chris slipped it out by accident. “So why were you to hugging in the corridor?” He asked Knowing JC wouldn’t want them to know that he was crying Amy made up something. “I was a little upset some things had just sunken in so JC gave me a hug” Amy told them “That’s all?” Nikki asked JC nodded.
“Oh” Justin said quietly They didn’t talk for a while and just sat there. “So is everyone ready to head back to the hotel?” Erin asked after a while. They all nodded and headed outside to the van. “Where are you guys planning to stay tonight?” Wendi asked half way through the journey. “Well we were thinking that we’d stay at your hotel if there were any rooms available” Joey told them. “Oh right” She smiled When they arrived at the hotel they all walked and the girls walked up to their rooms after saying goodbye to the guys they didn’t think they were going to see them again they were Nsync after all and they were just lifeguards. They all walked into Nikki’s room. Wendi slumped down on the sofa. “So what really happened with JC?” she asked Amy Amy looked at her. “Exactly what I said I was upset and he gave me a hug,” She told her.
“No Really” She grinned Amy hesitated. “OK but you guys have gotta promise not to say anything” Amy told them “We promise,” they said “Ok well as we were walking he thanked me and I told him there was no need to thank me then he started saying that he saw how the paramedics pushed us out the way and that if it wasn’t for us he wouldn’t be here now then he got upset because everything had sunken in for him that he could be dead so I hugged him to try and make him feel better” Amy told them “Aw that’s so sweet” Nikki said smiling “You know what? It felt so right when I was hugging him like we were meant to be ya know?” Amy said “Aw Amy are you in love?” Erin asked jokingly. “Nah you can’t tell if you love someone just like that it takes a while but I guess I’ll never know now,” Amy told them.
Amy decided she didn’t’ want to talk about his and changed the subject. “Anyone wanna join me in the Jacuzzi? I think I need to relax today has been too weird” she said They all said yes and the girls got changed into swimming gear. When they got down to the Jacuzzi there were already 4 people in there the girls didn’t mind it was big enough so they all went and sat down. “Long time no see,” one of them said The girls looked up and saw Justin, Joey, Chris and JC. “We can’t get rid of you can we?” Chris laughed “Gee thanks nice to know we’re loved” Erin laughed “We just came down here to chill” Diane told them “So did we we’re going home tomorrow?” JC told them “Us too back to Orlando and back to work” Nikki sighed “Where do you guys work?” Joey asked “The beach…we’re lifeguards” Wendi told them “Really?” Justin said impressed. They laughed. “Yeah” Diane said giggling a little. “What times your flight tomorrow?” Chris asked The girls thought for a minute. “10.00am the airport isn’t far from here so we can leave about 8.30am” Nikki told them “Man this is too freaky so’s ours” JC said “Shame” Amy joked and glanced over at JC. “Do you guys want a lift in the morning?” Erin asked “Yeah cool” Justin said They just sat for a while relaxing. JC glanced over at Amy she was sat with her eyes closed.
“Can you tell if you’re in love within the first few hours of knowing a person?” Jc thought to himself. He paused. “Nah” He shook his head and slid down under the water for a second. A few hours later Wendi glanced at the watch. “Well I’ma head up to my room now I gotta be up in 6 hours” She said she waved goodbye to everyone and headed inside the hotel. “I think I’ma head up too,” Diane said Nikki nodded and followed her up. “Goodnight” They said and walked off. Amy didn’t want to go yet she still wanted to do some thinking.
Erin decided she would stay with her. “I think I’m just gonna stay awake all night and sleep on the flight home” Amy said “Yeah” Erin replied. JC and Joey decided they were going to go to bed. “See you tomorrow” They said and walked inside too. “Mind if we join you?” Justin and Chris asked Amy and Erin shook their heads. “Not at all” Erin grinned
