The Red Eye Gravy String Band is located out of Orofino, Idaho and is considered by many to be the hottest acoustic band in the Clearwater Valley. Their music is heavily influenced from the early bluegrass work of artists like Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley and Doc Watson, but melds this influence with blues, jazz, and southern rock styles brought to the group by the band members.
