This was the first night of their Spires & Beams Tour, all of which takes place in churches in blocks of 4-5 days through to 13 November. We sat first of all in the front pew - hideously uncomfortable even using cushions that we took with us (as did many others!), but then noticed some more comfortable looking chairs to the side which happened to be roughly 5 feet from the rightmost PA stand - very lucky, and even more so that nobody sat to my right enabling camera case holding mic to be on a chair.

Jackie Oates in support was very good.

A couple of songs were sung in the body of the church with no mics and so are very quiet. I gave these 10db of boost.
