Richard Thompson Dublin 1981-11-21 audience (unkown) gen cassette -> Xitel -> hd -> Nero (tracking) -> flac 8 1. Time to Ring Some Changes 2. Banish Misfortune 3. Honky Tonk Blues 4. Down Where the Drunkards Roll 5. Madame Sosthene 6. The Random Jig / Merry Blacksmith 7. Back Street Slide 8. Just the Motion 9. Move It On Over 10. Nobody's Wedding 11. The Train That Carried My Girl From Town 12. I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight 13. Borrowed Time This is a pretty decent recording for time period. It has good frequency response and seems to be at the right spee. But, it DOES have some problems. 1. It is a little hissy. 2. The taper kept fidgeting in his wooden chair and, periodically you can hear the creaks. 3. There were more than a couple multi second dropouts in one channel, which I "fixed" by duping the good channel. 4. Somebody decided to drop the between songs applause. Don't think it was the taper shutting down the recording between songs, because all the music and significant banter is here. As for the venue my cassette says 'Reachache Theatre", but I've also seen this referenced as being from the Project Arts Centre. Anybody?
