Cambridge Folk Festival Highlights 2012 PAL DVD Cambridge Folk festival Cherry Hinton Hall Cambridge UK Festival Highlights 26th to 29th July 2012 Vol 3 Folk Audio:AC3 48000Hz 256kb/s stereo Video:16:9 PAL, 720 x 576, MPEG-2, 25fps approx average 4541kbps Digital broadcast > Sony RDR-HXD790>DVD-RW (SP mode) > PC > TMPGenC chapter/menu > PC Generally logo free but a few may creep in. Menued and tracked with 9 selectables chapter/titles for respective artists but there are "hidden" chapter marks for each song within the selected artists-all joins are crossfade transitioned. Done this way to avoid me having to take taking forever to create separate tracks and endless pages of song titles. This due to highlights having been broadcast over several shows and I had to group the artists from the respective highlights shows to put them together in this way (and also to cut out most of the commentary/introductions. Just use your DVD Player/computer to chapter advance. I grouped the mainly British Folk Artists who weren't included in the other DVDs and called it "Folk" for what should be fairly obvious reasons.(Brooks Williams is counted as a Brit for the sake of this DVD) HEALTH WARNING: As with all the Cambridge/Cropredy broadcasts this year there were numerous sound glitches in the actual broadcast. Real Purists should note that this was recorded via a DVD recorder as I do not have the hardware to capture Sky encrypted .ts streams. If this offends then best to leave it alone and avoid any unnecessary disparaging comments. Total Play Time 1:57:48 (approx) 1.
