JC: yea were doing a fundraiser for challenge for the children, it’s a organization that ah raises money for different kids charities and things like that, it doesn’t go to one specific charity for kids, it goes to a mixture of all of them
DUDE: so who ya playing?
JC: were playing uh… I don’t know there is a ton of people
CHRIS: Usher, Queen Latvia, Isaiah Thomas, Jordan Knight, Pink, Elton’s gonna be there
LANCE: even Fat Joe
CHRIS: Elton Brand
DUDE: well it should be a lot of fun… you know you guys have got to be congratulated I mean it was 9 months ago that like ah last fall there was lawsuits everywhere
JC: yea
DUDE: ya know, what label, there is no record label, the record labels are suing each other, everybody it suing everybody, and you’ve got to be shaking your heads, I remember….
JOEY: didn’t we sue you?
DUDE: I was in trouble too *Everyone laughs*
CHRIS: sue me… sue you DUDE: well boy my mother used to say, it’s always darkest before the dawn, when all of a sudden out comes your album and it’s the biggest selling album in the history of music, first week out
JC: yea, it was pretty exciting, we didn’t know it was gonna do all that, I mean were definitely thankful for it, but we had no idea it was gonna do that
JOEY: I mean we could basically thank the fans, that’s pretty much who broke the record, they say, “oh well NSYNC broke the record,” but the fans really broke the record
DUDE: yea but you made the record
JUSTIN: we just made it we didn’t break it
DUDE: that’s right, it’s the fans who made that record so good
JC: yea indeed, it’s true though, in our minds it is
DUDE: do you ever watch making of the band on ABC?
JC: I have not seen an episode yet, but Lance has
CHRIS: were not big fans
LANCE: I was on an episode actually
DUDE: what did you think of it Lance?
LANCE: oh I think its crap *Everyone laughs*
CHRIS: tell us how u really feel Lance
LANCE: nah the thing that I really don’t like about it is, their trying to depict what it’s like to be in a group like us, ah which is totally not anything what happened with us, you know it’s like…
JOEY: ya know everyone has their own individual different story of each group of how somebody got together, but that’s not the way we came about, and that’s what people perceive and thinks it is, but it’s really weird cuz we never really, I don’t know I have seen an episode, but we never really held hands, and hugged each other, just to make sure we get into a group.
CHRIS: it just… it just wasn’t real, it just wasn’t real
LANCE: um wait, your dance move was off there, um ya know
JC: yea he can really dance; he’s a heck of a lour
CHRIS: it just wasn’t real cuz I mean they didn’t even show like the stuff we had to go through with the shower scenes and stuff *Everyone laughs*
CHRIS: the cuddling that goes on is just, you know, not good for TV viewing
JC: whoa… (Mumbling in back round)
DUDE: there was an awful picture of Madonna this past weekend in the national enquirer... bathing with like the little bathing suit on and she is very pregnant, and she is covered with mud and she id somewhere over in Italy or something
CHRIS: mud?
DUDE: yea
CHRIS: she is bathing w/ mud
DUDE: well she’s got mud all over her body and stuff
JC: well I guess she’s into tha
t CHRIS: and you’re sure its Madonna? L
ance: are you sure it's mud? *Laughs*

JOEY: ya know they have websites for those kind of thing
DUDE: this should be the NSYNC comedy special
DUDE: All right next question, Justin and Britney getting married what was that all about?
JC: Whatever
JUSTIN: Since I’m 19 I feel like I have come to a place in my life where I should just get married.
CHRIS: he’s seen it all done it all. He’s at the pedicel of his career; he’s ready to settle down.
DUDE: and why wont the Justin and Britney thing die?
JUSTIN: I don’t know
JOEY: there will be nothing else to talk about.
ALL: yea
JUSTIN: people got to talk about something I guess
JC: Cuz John Garabeani keeps spreading the rumors
DUDE: that’s what it is… what about Lance and Britney?
CHRIS: Lance and Justin?
DUDE: tell us how “It’s Gonna Be Me” got written, produced and sung, where was it done and all that.
JC: we were on our last tour when we recorded that one, uh and ah we recorded that… when we were signed to JIVE.
DUDE: oh boy
JC: that was actually one of the first songs we recorded when we actually got signed to the new record company.
