For those of you wondering why some people would love to have llamas, we can assure you that llamas are very versatile creatures.  Llamas make great companions, are easy to care for, easy to train and inexpensive to maintain.

        Llamas have many uses other than friendly companions of competative shows.  Llamas are used by hikers as pack animals and have been employed in the grand canyon even!  Llama wool is also very useful and there are farms that raise them to collect their wool for products that are sold.

        A very unique sight is that of llama carting.  That's right, llamas can be put in harness and pull carts in teams of two or three.  it is very simple to train llamas to work in harness and once you have a cart and team, you can be the new celebrity of your local parades!!!
