9/11/04 - Okay, more shit happens... We actually did start recording a 10 song CD due out October. As of now, 2 songs are completely done and a couple others are almost done. 3/25/03 - Holy shit it's been awhile! Hooked has started back up and is a unit again, and currently we are just touching up on a few tunes. We figured out that we can record (kick ass quality) on my (Nick's) computer, so expect our "CD" to come out soon. Thats all for now, later-

2/3/03 - It's been nearly a month since our last update, heres whats goin on with Hooked. We were on a little break for that past month and a half/2 months, and in that time period we got a lot accomplished (sort of). We have a bunch of new tunes, pretty good ones too! we're startin to sign up and make shows again, cause we just needed to come back and play, that down time was killing me! Anyway, look at the Music section to see the new songs, and when record the album we'll load them up so u can actually hear them. Later-1/5/03 - Happy New Year! We got a new powered mixer, which is incredible. Basically most of our technical problems are solved. Chris and I (Nick), have been practicing together a lot latly trying to put the finishing touches on a few new songs ("Dreams" and "Are You There?"). These songs are my favorite songs that we play. As you might not of heard, we are recording a 10 track CD pretty soon. We're not sure what we're going to put on it, but expect to see "I Am", "Disaffirmed", "Are You There?", and "Dreams" for sure. And that about sums it up, it's my birthday on the 15th, so maybe I'll get some more cool shit I can tell you about (but then again, maybe not). Later-

12/11/02 - HooKeD is going to be recording a CD really soon, depending ont he money situation. This will not be a demo per-say, but rather a real CD. It's going to have around 7 or 8 songs on it, with no fillers. This one's gonna be real good, I promise (haha).
12/9/02 - Amy's party was a success last night even though we didn't nail everything. People seemed to enjoy the party, and us, and we got paid (that's always a plus). Also expect Jon to be singing some more songs, we've been getting some positive feedback. We're going to play at CBGB's in New York City, more info will be posted later. When it is, come and support us, we'll get you in (+21 age). Later!

10/03/02-Hey guys, it's been along time since the last update for one reason. I put up the pictures from the recording! Check them out! Anyway, it's been really busy. We're trying to practice as much as possible for our (many) shows coming up in the near future (hope to see you guys at some), and at the same time write brand new songs. We knew the fall would be tough because Jon plays soccer, I play fall baseball and marching band, and Chris plays hockey, but now that Chris quit Cross Country, expect to see big things from HooKeD in the near future!
9/24/02-Nick is making me update the site. so supposedly we're possibly changing genres somewhat i guess. i suppose you can just say that jon will be playin cooler bass parts and nick will be playin cooler drum parts and i will solo a little bit more. hopefully all will go well. i just say go with it, it sounds cool to me. so rock on.
9/11/02-It's the one year anniversary for the tragedy of September 11, God Bless--On the subject of anniversaries, tomorrow the 12th, is HooKeD's one year anniversary! Hurray! The year went by pretty damn fast, at least I thought so. Our demos still selling, we're nearing the $100 mark. Chris is finaly getting speakers, wahoo! We're also getting a mic preamp, too. Brian McNiel may be appearing at a few shows as singer and rhythm guitarist, we'll see how stuff goes, but we're pumped. 8/14/02-You were told wrong again, the few of you who actually read this crap. So far, no PA speakers, maybe later. The demo has 4 songs and you should get it, it didn't turn out half bad. The music came out pretty good for the most part. I finally gave up on the talkbox, damn thing. And about the small dick, I'm irish, what can I say. also, Nick has managed to steal yet another one of my quotes, this time slightly modifying it. "Rock on" is mine, "rock" ain't much different. This goes along with the quote from catcher in the rye and another one I told him on a trampoline that I forgot.
8/06/02-As you were previously misinformed, you shouldn't listen to Chris...He is attempting to make a TalkBox out out of tupperware, and he has a small dick (from what I've been told). There is not really any real news, actually the only reason I'm updating is because I am bored again. We're excited about the recording coming up on Monday, it'll have 4 songs, 5 if we have time. We're getting new PA speakers, hurray! Okay, since I no longer have my little column, I'll babble on this page now...starting next update. Later guys, rock.
7/28/02-Don't listen to anything Nick says. We're recording on the 12, so there is no way in hell the demo is gettin out on the 11. And about the BMG contest, we might enter it if we, and the BMG employee we know, feel that the cd is in fact good enough to even make the effort. But for now, all we, or at least I, want to do is have a little fun and hang out with half naked, or fully naked girls, which hasnt happened, yet. Rock on.
7/20/02-This update was looong overdue, and actually the only reason why I, Nick, updated this time was out of severe boredom. Anyhow, I updated all the parts to this webtras...I mean website. Oh yeah, I have 2 pieces of actual news for you guys. First, our demo is coming out August 11, contact us to get it...or go to Scotti's or something. Lastly, HooKeD is in a contest for a record deal with BMG, though we probably won't be one of the top 7 to win, it's a very good oppurtunity for us to get out there, you know? Somehow people are going to hear us and vote for who's the 7 best. And that's about it, rock.
6/17/02-We really don't have a release date for the cd. We have to go through all this copyright crap before we do. So as of now, all we know is that we're recording on August 10. Rock on. And e-mail nick so he actually puts his column up. It's been over a week.

6/01/02-BAND LOSES A MEMBER! Due to personal differences, Matt is out of the band, and Jon is in. This change has really affected Hooked positivly!
5/24/02-We finally have a release date for our CD. August 11th, 2002!! E-Mail us if you want a copy. They'll be only $3.00!
5/14/02-We don't really have any news other than the fact that we're recording in about a month. We're hoping to crank out 4-5 songs. Also, we won the SMS Battle of the Bands, wahoo. We're hoping to put together a concert at the Rec in Summit with some other bands. If we can pull it off, it would be a lot of fun. We encourage everyone to go!!
