The Story

This is where we tell you the story behind the band. In a way, it all started when Fusion lost its guitarist. They just wanted to fill in the spot, so Nick talked to Chris about joining the band. Unfortunately, Fusion split before he could. With this happening, two new bands were formed, and one was Hooked. Nick and Chris stayed together and looked around for a singer and bassist. They found Nick's friend Matt for bass and Chris's friend Amy, for vocals. Soon after, Amy split and Hooked was left without a singer. Pressures of performance forced the band to make Chris sing, and he has ever since (even though he sucks). After several months of being a trio, Matt left the band. They picked up Jon, recorded a demo and have been writing and preparing for whatever comes next. A year later, Jon moved to DC with his parents. For over a year the band remained idle. However, Chris and Nick started up again on a project that had been put off twice before... recording a full cd. In August of 2004 the two started this bitch of a project. Since Hooked didn't actually have a bassist, Chris had to record bass on the cd. It is expected to be completed by October. After the release of the cd, the band is hoping to pick up a bassist from Bridgewater named Tyler and start playing to promote the cd.

Band Members

Chris - Guitar/Vocals

Chris was born in '87 in NY. He moved to Jersey with his mom and has been here ever since. He started playin bass in 2000, and then switched to guitar 6 months later. He just messed around with it until Nick got him to get his act together and practice (occasionally). His main influences are Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, and Jimmy Page.

Jon - Bass

Jon was born in '88 in Washington D.C. Just like Nick and Chris, Jon has moved to New Jersey with his family and has is currently stil residing here. Jon started playing bass back in 2000 when there was high demand and he's had a natural ability for it ever since. Although Jon's head isn't as big as Matt's, he makes up for it with his huge... feet! He'd like to dedicate his performances to his deceased bass teacher, Ron Veloski, who has taught him so much.

Nick - Drums

Nick was born on January 15 in Boston, Mass. Nick moved to Jersey when he was 2, and currently lives here (after moving a couple times). Nick started playing the drums in 2000, when he got a set for his birthday. Since then, Nick has taken, and continues to take, drum lessons with some of the greatest drummers alive. Some of these include Russ Moy (Rio Clemente Trio), Zoro (Lenny Kravitz, Frank Valli and the Four Seasons... 2000-2003 #1 R&B/Funk Drummer In the World-Modern Drummer), Peter Criss (Kiss), Larry Crockett (Elton John), Jim Chapin (World famous teacher and hand conditioner for drums, of course), and Bernard Purdie (Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Steely Dan, Miles Davis, James Brown, and more).
