- Oi oi mates... Hailing from the East of Singapore, Generation 69 emerged as one of the best oi!/punk bands the local scene has produced so far. Playing with the likes of old-skool heroes like The business, The 4-Skins, The Oppressed & Peter & The Test Tube Babies, these guys have proved that they have been keeping the flag of Oi! flyin' sky-high 'till today.

Gen69 will start recording their 2nd album this month. Rumours
has it that it will be a split album of 8 tracks each with another Singapore
Oi! band-Steelies under a top Italian label. Steelies will use all of their 8 songs on their 'Victory to Us' CD while
Gen69 will record an album version of 'SKINHEAD', 'SYSTEM' & 'BLIND
JUSTICE' plus 5 more new numbers...
October 2002
Gen 69 would like to wish farewell to one of our brother skinhead- Yane for
his peace- keeping mission at East Timor. Yane will leave home on the 7th of October and will not be around for 8 months.Vocalist/Guitarist of Gen 69 Wan will also leave Singapore for Brunei on the 15th of October for his jungle training. We wish the best of luck to the two
friends...
