Allie sat in front of her computer, editing some sports reviews for the paper. She came across one of the basketball game on friday. She had read the whole thing a couple of times, and realized that Nick didn't get any credit for what he did in this article.
Her fingers grazed the keyboard before she smiled and pasted the article onto word for 'editing' She skipped throught the article right to the end, to the last sentence.
A true team victory.
Allie set the moust beside the period, and clicked.
A true team victory. The team has the star of the team, Nick Carter, to thank for that. If it hadn't been for his frequent three point shots, the team would have nothing to fall back on to. He puts a great effort into each game and does not get enough credit for it. So if you see him pass you by in the hallway, congradulate him!
Allie grinned evilly to herself. Curiousity getting the best of her, she flipped through all of Emily's Game reviews. She was the head of the sports department, and always wrote about our school's basketball game. She was definetly critical, because not one article said a thing about Nick. Allie frowned at this, and saved the article.

"Hey, Nick. You read the paper?" Nick's friend, Trent ran up to him. Nick shook his head. Trent flung it at his chest. "Read the basketball review, you'll like it."
Nick opened the paper up slowly, he always read the reviews but they were always crap. About how great the team was, and so on. Well the team sucked, he was the only good player. He didn't want to be egotistical about it but any person with common sense would agree.
He read through the section seeing nothing about him, he was ready to close it when he saw his name at the bottom. He grinned widely at what it said.
"Allright!" He cheered. He looked down to see that Emily Edwards had written the article, he definetly had to thank her. Then he noticed something else. There was a star beside the part about him.
*-this part was written by Allison Harper.
Nick smiled when he realized Allie had added in that part.

"You vixen you." Darla teased. Allie giggled. "But you're totally right, i mean-"
"Allie!" A voice interrupted. A steaming Emily was stomping in their direction. She threw the article down on the table. "You're the editor, you cannot just add things into my article!"
"Emily I went to the game, and I took credit for it. Don't worry no one will know that you don't give Nick Carter any credit." Allie said simply. Emily sighed.
"I just don't think he has all the talent everyone thinks he has." She replied. Allie laughed.
"He's the only one with talent on that team." Emily rolled her eyes at this.
"Just because you think you're his number one fan does not mean you have any right ruining my article!" Emily vented.
"I did not ruin it, I made it better." Allie said firmly. "Emily you need to credit people, I need someone who is going to tell it like it is. I'm sorry Emily, I hate to do this, but you're fired."
Emily gasped, and her mouth hung open.
"How dare you!" She screeched. Darla covered her ears.
"Easy on the eardrums honey." She said sarcastically. Emily glared at her, grabbing the article and tore it up. She walked over to the trash can and dumped it in.
"That is where it belongs!" She shouted from the can, everyone looked up. She rushed out of the room as fast as she could.
Darla shared a look with Allie.
"Two words, Anger management." Darla commented, Allie giggled and wrapped up the remains of her sandwich.
"Where am I going to find a new sports writer?" She asked with a sigh. Darla shrugged.
"Hey--Why don't you do it?" She suggested. Allie shook her head vigorously.
"No way, I'm just the editor." She said. Darla rolled her eyes.
"And the head of the paper!"
