Known for his rock solid time keeping, and a heavy hitting, energetic style, Danny Cassidy has emerged as an in demand rock drummer on the south shore music scene. Previous bands include Glasstown, Seven, and Chaindrive, as well as various other studio and live fill in work.
Danny began playing drums at the age of 8 years old and was playing as the house drummer in his parents local church by the age of 12. He played his first paying bar gig with his father at 14 years old. Toured the North East with the drum corp Spirit of America for two years. Studied for 4+ years with Martin Vasquez and the past two years with world renown drumset instructor Gary Chaffee (Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Smith, Joey Kramer, etc.) Don’t let the bad boy image fool you, Danny is a well trained, and highly skilled groove oriented drummer who gives the new SHATTERED lineup “kick in the head energy” and a “tighter feel”.
