Someone To Hold Me Tonight

**Chapter 26; Walkin the Streets*

******CHAPTER 26; WALKIN THE STREETS******

“Let’s go shopping!” me, Sara, Cori, Larissa and Nikki screeched. As soon as we did that everyone turned around and looked at us. “Sorry,” we all said lowering our heads. “So where do you girls wanna go?” Claudia asked curiously. “Well…” we all started, *magically* in a better mood. All of the guys let out a sigh. For a while we couldn’t find a lot of stores that we liked, so we just kept walking around. “Starbucks!” Chris screamed as he ran across the streets and right into the store. “Oh no,” I sighed as the other 10 of us walked into Starbucks. In a matter of 5 minutes, Chris had gotten his caramel frappacino and walked right outta the store. Since none of us wanted anything, we just kept walking. “Mmmm…” Chris said looking at his drink. “Don’t just stare at it! You could drink it,” Cori said sarcastically while rolling her eyes. “I was going to…” he said as he brought it up to his face to take a sip. Right then, Jesse shoved Chris’ caramel frappacino into his face, getting whipped cream everywhere. We all tried to hold it in, but we couldn’t; we all busted out laughing. Chris whipped around and dumped his frap on who he thought was Jesse…but was it? “GOTCHA!” Chris announced, so proud of himself. “Uhh, Chris….” Larissa said slowly. “Yeah?” he said with a big smile on his face. “That wasn’t Jesse…” she replied quietly. We all just stood there. “What?” he said as he looked over and saw that Larissa was right. “Young man!” a very old guy said sternly. “Watch what you’re doing!” he said as he just stood there with his face beet red. “Oh my God, sir I’m so sorry!” Chris said apologetically. The rest of us just started walking away, FAST. “What about Chris?” Sara asked. “He’ll catch up,” Claudia laughed. Then Greg stopped walking. “What are you doing?” I asked curiously as I looked back to see why he has stopped. He had imitated the dummy in the window of a shop. “You dumba$$!” I laughed. “C’mon,” I said as I pulled his arm.

A couple minutes later, Chris caught up with us. “It’s about time! I thought you died!” Frankie said quickly. “So you guys left me there?!?” Chris replied. “Yeah basically,” I laughed. “ha-ha,” Chris mocked us. “STORE!” Claudia announced, as we walked in. It was deLiA*s. And immediately we started looking around, sorta leaving the guys. Then my cell phone rang again. “Hey Greg I’m vibrating again!” I joked. He just smirked. “Hello?” I asked. “Hi Lauren, it’s Nikki there?” her mother asked politely. “Yeah, sure hang on a sec,” I replied as I handed my cell over to Nikki. “Hello?” “Hi honey, Dad just drove into the city and is waiting for you at the ice rink so go and meet him there ok?” she said quickly. “Yeah sure, I’ll see you in a little while, bye” she said as she hung up the phone.“I gotta go guys, I’ll talk to you later, bye!” Nikki said as she went up and gave Frankie a hug. “Bye!” we all said as we gave her a hug, and she left. The rest of us just kept on looking at clothes, and the 5 of them just stood in the corner of the store talking. “Hey Sara, what do you think?” Jesse said as he walked up slowly behind her. “What?” Sara said as she turned around to see what Jesse was talking about. He was holding up a light pink tube top with a little matching over-coat. As soon as we saw Jesse modeling, we lost it. “Oh my God take that OFF,” Cori laughed. “That’s so wrong!” Sara sighed playfully. Apparently the guys were finding ways to amuse themselves. (I looked to see that my phone was ringing silently in my pocket) “1 new message” the mechanical voice said quickly. I checked my messages and my mom had left me a message…probably while we were in TGI Fridays. “Hi honey, I just wanted to let you know that there’s a little bit of traffic so we set it up so that you’ll be staying with Greg for another night,” I listened as my mom talked and I heard the annoying sounds of my brother in the background. I smiled and nodded. “What was the message?” Claudia asked curiously. “My mom’s having problems in traffic, so she can’t come to pick me up, so she called Maryann and I’m going to be at Greg’s for another night,” I replied. “OOOOOH” Frankie joked. I looked over and punched Frankie in the arm, playfully. “Shut up Frankie!” I said trying to act serious. “Well, we gotta go because my mom’s gonna be here any minute, do you wanna call your mom back and tell her that we can bring you home?” Sara offered. “No that’s ok! I don’t think Laur will mind!” Greg answered quickly. “Umm…Greg…is your name Lauren?” Sara said quickly as she stared at Greg waiting for an answer. “No” Greg started. “Riiight…Lauren..what do you wanna do? Either way is fine with me,” Sara said redirecting her attention to me. “No that’s okay,” I laughed. “Okay, I’ll talk to you tomorrow, bye babe!” Sara said as she came over and gave me a hug. Larissa and Cori also said goodbye and went to go leave with Sara. “GIRLS!” Claudia said loudly. “Yeah?” the 3 of them turned around to hear her. “There’s a show tomorrow in Albany!! You can meet up with Laurie and the rest of us there if you can get a ride okay? Claudia shouted. “OKAY!” the three of them agreed. “BYE!” they waved. “Does my mom know about that part?” I asked curiously looking at the guys. “Well, my guess is that since your mom talked to Maryann, she probably knows,” Claudia replied. “Okay,” I smiled. “Well, we’d better head back to the studio because Greg, your mom’s gonna be there in about 10 minutes to pick you and Laurie up,” Claudia said as we started to walk back towards the studio. A couple of minutes later, we were waiting outside the studio for Maryann. “GREG,” Maryann called as she pulled up next to the curb. Greg waved and we said goodbye to everyone else. “Greg come here for a sec,” Jesse said as he pulled Greg aside. I just looked over with a confused look on my face. “Bye Laur! I’ll see you early tomorrow!!” Chris said as he gave me a hug. “Okay…wait..what time are we leaving for Albany?” I asked as I quickly pulled away from the hug. “7:30,” he replied quickly. “OH MY GAWD WHY?!?” I said. I glanced at Claud. “I don’t know!” she said quickly as she put her hands up in the air. “I know how you feel,” Matt joked as he put his arm around my shoulder. “That’s soo early!” I whined. “Suck it up Laur! It’s gonna be fine,” Frankie added. “Okay,” I replied as I gave everyone else hug goodbye. “GREG!” Maryann repeated, starting to get a little impatient. Just then Jesse and Greg came back to where the rest of us were and I saw that Greg had a big grin on his face and he was laughing along with Jesse. I gave both of them confused looks. “What?” I asked. “Nothing,” Jesse replied. “Greeg?” I eyed him. “C’mon let’s go! My mom’s waiting,” he snapped as he grabbed my arm and headed for the car. “BYE!” I said quickly as Greg practically threw me into the car. “Whoa whoa whoa…slow down there buddy…what’s going on?” I said picking myself up off of the floor of the car. “Greg calm down honey!” Maryann chimed in. “Nothing, I’m just anxious to get home…it’s okay Laur, we’ll see ‘em tomorrow in Albany,” Greg said leaning back into the chair. “Okay…” I said doubtfully. “You guys ready?” Maryann said looking in the rearview mirror. “Yep,” we both replied. “Okay! Now Greg, don’t forget to set your alarm or else you won’t have time to gel your hair in the morning,” Maryann said starting the car. I chuckled a little bit. “Okay MOM,” Greg said in a little annoyed voice. A couple hours later, we were back at Greg’s house…I said goodnight because I was dead tired, and went straight to bed. I quickly looked at the clock and it read 11:35pm. THE REST WILL BE UPDATED ASAP!!!
