******CHAPTER 25; As The Evening Continues...******
“Good job Chris…make the waiter cry!” I joked. “Shut up Laur!” he snapped back. “Getting a little defensive now are we?” Claudia said sarcastically. Chris just slouched into the seat. A couple minutes later, the different waiter returned to give us our drinks. As she walked towards the table, she sorta in a way…avoided Chris. He just sat there as we all tried not to laugh at him. After she was done with that, she took down our orders and told us that it would probably be 20-25 minutes before we got our food. All of the sudden, Sara had a look like she was trying not to burst out laughing. “Sara, you OK?” Courtney asked curiously as we all looked over to see what was going on. “Uh-huh…” Sara said as she out of nowhere busted out laughing. We all exchanged confused looks. “Umm, what’s so funny?” I asked, confused like everyone else at the table. “Jesse’s rubbing his leg on mine and it’s really umm..interesting,” Sara said as she continued laughing. Jesse looked at Sara with a confused look on his face. “Uhh Sara…that’s not my leg,” he said quickly. That’s when Sara stopped laughing. “WHAT?!?” she exclaimed. “Then whose leg IS it?” she said as she looked underneath the table to see who’s it was. “MATT!” Jesse screeched. “Whoa..I didn’t know that you could still hit those high notes Jess!” Claudia laughed. He just looked at her and smirked. “Oops..I thought that was Larissa’s leg!” Matt protested. “Matt, Larissa’s the girl on your LEFT not your right!” Greg chuckled since we all found this highly amusing. “Larissa I’m so-“ Matt started to say but it was too late. Larissa poured her Coca-cola all over Matt. Poor Matt….
Then all of us started busting out laughing. “It’s not that funny guys…” Matt said as he looked at himself, drenched in soda. “YES IT IS!” I said we he looked around to see that we were all laughing hysterically, even Claudia found it funny! “Sorry Matt,” Frankie said. Then he looked at Matt again and couldn’t help but start laughing again. Then the waiter came out to give us our food and noticed that Matt what soaking wet, he was sorta hard to miss. “Do you want a towel?” she asked politely. “Yes please,” Matt replied. The waiter nodded and as soon as she gave us our orders, she left to go get Matt a towel. As she was leaving, I noticed that he was laughing quietly a little bit. A while later, we left TGIF and all 11 of us stopped right outside the door. “So, what do you guys wanna do now?” Claudia asked curiously.
