******CHAPTER 14; WHAT A COINCIDENCE...******
As Frankie, Nik, Larissa, Matt, Sara and Jesse walked into the store..they saw Chris, Greg and me walk out of one small dressing room.When we saw all 6 of them walk into the store, we froze. “Hey!” Greg said nervously, “What are you guys doing here?” All 6 of them just looked at us and without answering the question asked,” Where’s Courtney?” Greg and Chris looked at me and we all said, “She’s changing.” Jesse looked at us with a confused look and asked, “Then why did you three come out of the same room?” “Well…umm..umm..it’s really funny when you think about it..” Chris stuttered.
Then at that very moment, Courtney came out of the dressing room. “Okay g-“ she stopped when saw that the other 6 were there looking at us. “Umm..Cori?” Matt asked. “Yeah?” she replied. “Why do you have a bathing suit top on?” Then Courtney looked down and realized that she accidentally kept on the bathing suit top instead of putting on her other shirt, which she was holding in her hand. As soon as she saw that, she pulled her coat over her. Then Chris slapped his forehead, ”Sh*t!” he exclaimed. “Oops..” Courtney said quietly. “Would someone care to explain what the hell is going on??” Larissa exclaimed in a confused tone. “Umm…umm…umm…” I stuttered. “Again with the whole funny story thing…” Chris said looking down at his feet. “Okay, can we please leave the store…NOW??” Greg said eagerly. “Okay..well umm, we gotta go by this jewelry store, cuz Sara and I bought rings and we need to pick them up,” Jesse said as he grabbed Sara’s hand and was already walking out the door. Then all 10 of us walked out of Express and headed to the jewelry store. As soon as the lady in the store saw Sara and Jesse, she had a scared look on her face and immediately got the manager. “Where did she go?” I whispered to Greg. He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. “I think Jesse scared the lady,” Frankie said half laughing. Then Sara turned around and gave Frankie and evil look and said sarcastically, “Well atleast Jesse didn’t fall into a GARBAGE CAN!” “Shut up!” he snapped sarcastically. Sara and Jesse calmly walked into the store while the rest of us waited outside for them. “Hello again,” the manager said politely. “Hi,” Sara said quietly. Jesse smiled and said, “Are our rings ready?” The manager just looked at them and pulled out two silver rings from under the counter. As soon as Sara saw the rings, she let out a gasp. “Do you like them?” the manager said looking at Jesse, making sure that he and Sara were satisfied. “Wait, where are the initials?” Jesse said, looking over the rings. “They’re on the inside,” the manager said as he showed Jesse and Sara the inside of the two rings. “Cool,” Sara said smiling. “Okay, here you go,” Jesse said handing the manager money. “You’re welcome,” the manager said politely and then walked out of the show room. As Sara and Jesse were leaving the store to meet the rest of us out in the mall, Jesse saw the store lady look out from behind the corner to make sure that Jesse had left. When Jesse saw her, he waved his hand and smiled. The lady blushed and went back around the corner. “Where should we go now?” Courtney asked as Sara and Jesse put on their rings. “Hmm…well..I have to go to CVS to pick up a few things, so would you guys mind if we stopped there for a little bit?” I asked. “No problem babe,” Greg said smiling. “No problem babe,” Greg said smiling. As we walked into CVS, the people from behind the cash registers looked at all 10 of us and started whispering to each other. From what it looked like, it seemed that we were the only people in the whole store, besides the employees.
“I’ll be right back guys,” I said as I walked away. As I walked over to look at some cards (my baby cousin was born) I saw Sara, Cori, Larissa and Nik go over to the make-up and hair stuff and the guys follow them, but I didn’t see Greg. I didn’t think anything of it, so I started looking at cards. I picked up a card with a goat on the cover with a birthday hat on and a bell hanging from its neck. It looked really amusing so I picked it up and opened it up to see what it said inside. I started to read the card when I felt someone squeeze my sides. “OH MY GOD!” I screamed as I jumped. I turned around to see that Greg was standing behind me, laughing his ass off. When I saw that it was him, I started laughing and then hit him over the head with the card. I looked over at the other 8 to see that they were laughing at me also. “You made everyone laugh at me!” I said, trying to sound upset as I gave him the puppy-eyed look. “I’m sorry Laur..But I didn’t think that you would do that” he said, still laughing. While trying to keep a straight face, I walked away to go look at something else. Hey followed me and said “I’m sorry..ur not gonna give me the silent thing are you?” I didn’t answer. “I’m gonna take that as a yes?” he said. I looked at him, smiled and then turned back around. “C’mon Laur! I’m sorry!” he said. Then he grabbed my arm and turned me around. As I turned around, Greg kissed me. “I said I was sorry..” he said, smiling. “Wow, you really were sorry!” I teased.
“Oooooh,” Sara said sarcastically. "Geeze..you two are like magnets! You cant seperate you guys for more than two minutes!" Chris said sarcastically. "Uhh..Chris..I wouldn't be talking if I were you!" I said sarcastically. "So are we ready to go?" Larissa asked eagerly. "Yeah, I just have to pay for a couple of things," I said, as I picked up a random birthday card and some other "stuff." I walked over to the cash register and put my stuff on the counter for them to ring up. I quickly payed and then we finally got out of CVS.
