The whole day, we all hung out at Sara's and did what we normally did. The next day, Greg called me at 10:30am. "Hey is Lauren there?" he asked politely. "Uhuh," I answered half asleep. "Hey, sorry did I wake you up?" "Umm..no, I was up," I replied sarcastically. As I got up to get out of my bed, I fell. THUD. "Umm..hello?" he asked, trying not to laugh. "Yeah, I'm still here..I'm awake now!" I said laughing at myself. "Okay..guess what!" he said enthusiastically. "What?" I replied. "Me, Chris, Jesse, Frankie and Matt are part of this group called DREAM STREET..and we're each calling you guys to see if you want to come to our first concert..it's part of a little mall tour that we're doing..would you wanna come? If you can, just tell the people that you're with me, I gave him your names and he'll let you guys backstage." he asked calmly.I didnt reply. "Umm..are you there?" he asked. Still no reply. "LAUREN!" he screamed. "What the hell?!? Oh..sorry I think I fell asleep," I said. "Oh my God," he said laughing on the other line. "I heard you, as I was drifting off..I'd love to go,but why didn't you tell us that you were in a band before?" I said. "Cuz we didn't know how you guys would react to it..but we thought that we should let you know now.Great..but umm..are you sure you're okay?" he asked trying not to laugh at me again. "Yeah, I'm gonna go take a shower and try to wake myself up," I said. "I WANNA COME OVER!" he exclaimed. I laughed, "Oh God, I'll see you later..bye!" "Bye!" he said and then we hung up. I called Sara and Courtney to see if they were going, and they said that they were but that Nik and Larissa couldn't. Sara's dad was coming to pick me up in 1 hr..so I had to make it quick.I took a quick shower, blow dried and straightened my hair, and got dressed. I told my parents that I would be at a concert and left. As we got to the mall, we saw the mob of girls in the main enterence. Sara, Courtney and I saw this big buff guy come to us and he said in a deep voice,"Sorry girls, but you have to go get in line like everybody else," I looked at Sara and Courtney and told them that I had it under control and they tried not to laugh at me. "We're here with Greg..my name's Lauren, and this is Sara and Courtney. He took out a little slip of paper and let us in. He took us down the hallway and brought us into the guys bathroom. First he knocked to and told them that we were here. A couple minutes later, they let us in. "Hey!" they said running over to us. They gave us each a kiss on the forehead and quickly went out onto the stage.
As we saw the lights turn down and we heard the music start. Sara, Courtney and I got in a little group and started talking. As the 1st song came to an end, Sara, Courtney and I screamed STRIPTEASE! and took off our jackets and Jesse,Chris and Greg looked over and their mouthes dropped open. Then we put our jackets back on and they winked at us. "OKAY GUYS! THANKS FOR COMING!" Frankie announced as the audience started to leave. We walked backstage and saw them. "How did we sound?" Frankie asked curiously. "You sounded alright..." Sara said sarcastically. At the end of the concert, we went to go see HANNIBAL again..not like we were gonna watch it or anything...
All 10 of us walked into the theatre this time instead of just 6 of us. Again, we sat seperately. Again, the previews started up again and we heard Chris scream "Here we go!" We looked back and we already saw Sara and Jesse making out. I looked over to see Frankie and Nik talking. "I have an idea," Nik said eyeing Frankie. "What's that?" he asked curiously. "Why don't we walk out of the theatre with different shirts on!" Frankie looked at her like she should be in a mental hospital. "Huh?" he asked. "We switch shirts," Nik said trying to keep a straight face. "Oooohh...umm..okay?" Frankie said, still uncertain about the whole idea. Somehow, Nik got him go give in, and they quickly switched. "Oh my God! How do you breathe in this thing!" Frankie said pointing out that Nik's shirt was about 5 times too small for him. Laughing, Nik said,"I don't know, but do you think I have enough room in this?" she said. Frankie's shirt was about 10 times too BIG for her. "I think your shirt has cut off all bloodflow to my head!" Frankie said sarcastically. "Awww,I know what will make it feel better!" Nichole said smiling. Courtney and Chris looked around and noticed something weird about Nik and Frankie, but couldn't figure it out. They looked over at Sara and Jesse who were already making out. "Well..atleast she's not screaming at the previews this time!" Chris said sarcastically. "Yeah, that was really amusing," Courtney replied. Courtney looked over at me and Greg and saw that we were just talking. "Oh my God! They're not making out yet! I think this is a record for them!" Courtney said sarcastically. Chris just looked over and laughed. Courtney looked at the screen to see the previews for Toy Story 3 again and looked over at me and we laughed remembering what Sara did the first time during the previews. "Courtney...Courtney..." Chris said. "Wha-" Courtney said but was cut off by Chris having them go into a liplock.
Greg and I were talking and then I heard Larissa scream "WAIT!" and then I saw her slap Matt across the face. "Sh*t! I'm so sorry!" she said, noticing that she had slapped Matt. "You sorta umm..caught me off guard," she said, trying not to laugh. "Sure..." Matt said sarcastically. "Damn..that really hurt," he said. Larissa started to laugh. "I'm sorry," she said. I'll make it better.
When Greg saw that Larissa slapped Matt, he immidiately started to laugh. "Damn..Matt just got slapped," he said still laughing. "That's Larissa for ya.." I said sarcastically. The lights in the theatre started to get dimmer..the movie was beginning. "You know..." Greg started."Since we've umm..seen some parts of the movie..it doesn't mean that we have to watch it again..right?" he said, looking at me and smiling. "Hmm...let me think," I said sarcastically. "I guess..." I smiled. A couple seconds later, we were in a liplock. I guess Nik took enough time away from making out with Frankie to see me and Greg, because I felt her tap my shoulder. "Ugh" I muttered. I pulled away from Greg to see Nik looking at me. "What?" I asked annoyed. "Why don't you guys just go get a room or something?" she said sarcastically, then walked away. Greg just got up and pulled my arm. "Umm..where are we going?" I asked curiously. "You'll see.." he said with a big grin on his face.
"Okay Jesse, I need air for a minute," Sara said, pulling away from Jesse. Jesse just sat there and gave her the puppy-eyed look. "Umm...what the hell is that?" she said pointing to the screen. "Why are there two shadows there?" Jesse asked curiously. "It looks like it's coming from the projector room," Sara said pointing. She looked up and saw me and Greg. "Oh my God!" she said starting to laugh. "That's Laurie and Greg!" She lept from her seat and ran up to the projetor room. "Laur! Laurie!" she said shaking me. I pulled away again. "What?" I asked. Everyone can see you guys!" she said laughing. "What?" Greg asked, confused. "You guys are right in front of the projector!!" Sara said,pointing that we were in the way of the movie. "OH MY GOD!" I said half screaming, half laughing. Greg stood there with a smile on his face. When we got down there, the movie was over and we met up with everyone else outside of the theatre. "Smooth Greg!" Chris said laughing. Everyone got a kick out of seeing me and Greg making out on the movie screen. "Umm...Nik?" I said. "Frankie..what's up with your shirt?" Greg said, pointing to Nik and Frankie's shirts. "Oops!" Frankie said smiling. "I think we forgot to switch back!" Nik said sarcastically. "Umm..too much information Nik!" Courtney said laughing.
