**Someone to Hold Me Tonight**
******CHAPTER 1;THE ICE RINK******
"Come on Laur! It's not that hard! Look, it's just like walking, but you glide.." Sara said trying to be patient. It was my first time ice skating, and I had made no success in trying to learn. I would basically get up and when I would finally be standing, I'd fall on my butt again.
"Here, you can hold on to me and Sara, while you try again," Courtney said, trying not to laugh at me. I stood up and grabbed onto Sara and Courtney's arms like there was no tomorrow, plus the fact that I didn't feel like falling again.
"Okay guys, I think I'm getting it," I said. all of the sudden, I felt both of their arms detach from my hands, and then next thing that I noticd, was that I was again, on the floor of the Rockafellar Ice Rink. "I didn't mean let go!" I said in a sarcastic tone. Sara and Courtney were hanging onto the wall laughing hysterically..but I have to admit, it was really amusing if you saw it. "Sorry Laurie, but it's the only way you're going to learn!" Courtney said still laughing a little.
"I know," I muttered. "..but I wanna try it one more time but this time..DON'T LET GO!" I said with a big grin on my face. They agreed, and a couple of seconds later, I was attempting to ice skate again. I was happy that I was making some kind of progress considering how sore I was from falling about every 5 seconds! "Okay guys, I'm gonna b brave and try to do it by myself!" I said sarcastically. "This should b interesting.." Sara said with a big smile on her face. I let go of their hands, and stood in the same spot for about a minute. "Court, can you give me a little push?" I asked, afraid that if I spoke to loudly that I would fall. "Sure!" she said.
"A LITTLE push!" was all I managed to say before I crashed into three guys skating in a row. And of course, I feel on my butt...AGAIN! "Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" I said, afraid that they were going to yell at me. When I saw the three of them turn around..I felt like I had forgotten how to speak. I looked back at Courtney and Sara who had stopped laughing when they saw the three guys turn around. One of them had blonde hair and green eyes, the other one had spiked brown hair with blonde tips and the one on the end had dark brown hair with brown eyes. I felt myself start to blush when I noticed that
the one on the end of the row was looking straight at me.
"Hey, that's okay. My name's Chris and these are my friends Greg and Jesse," he said calmly."Is it your first time on the rink?" he asked. I was still partially in shock from the fall and the fact that i bumped into three HOTT guys. {Could this day get any better?} I thought smiling to myself. "Yeah," I said. I looked over at Sara and Courtney. "My two friends are trying to teach me how to ice skate, but we're not making that much progress," I said blushing a little. "Here, let me help you up," Greg said. "Thanks," I said, flashing him a smile. I motioned for Sara and Courtney to come over and I introduced them to the guys. I could immediately tell that Sara and Jesse were gonna hit it off and that Courtney and Chris were gonna hit it off."Greg, Chris, Jesse, this is Courtney and Sara." I said, watching their reactions. "We were just going to get a bite to eat, do you guys wanna come with us?" Jesse said with a little bit of eagerness in his voice. "Sure!" We all said in unison. The three of us looked at eachother and I whispered sarcastically "You guys owe me BIG!"
I told my Dad that we were going to go grab a bite to eat, and he gave me his cell phone so incase of an emergency, he could reach me, or I could reach him. I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and we were off to go eat lunch with the three hottest guys on the face of the earth!
