Here's what Barrett has to say...

Hey, ya'll!!! Whoa Whoa, this is my first post! Heck yeah! Well, I guess I'll just start off by saying that my name is Barrett, and I play guitar and sing a little in Dover Drive. I can't really say what type of band we are, because every one of our songs sounds like it's played by a different band. That's what I love about our band... We don't have to play any certain type of music because we don't label our band and restrict ourselves to a certain genre. AHHH... I LOVE IT!!! Well, most of our friends just say that we are an all out, balls to the wall rock band. Yeah... well, Dover Drive is sounding tighter and tighter as the days go by and I am loving it! I am going to the Cruiserweight show/cd release party in Austin this Friday, and it's gonna be so rad! We also went to The Parc today to check it out. We are playing there on the 9th with General Admission. I can't wait! General Admission are cool guys... they're pretty good too. I strongly suggest that you check 'em out sometime. Well, I guess that's good enough for a first post. Keep rockin' out!!!

Welp... Salley O'Malley has been helping me out a lot lately... uhhhh... anyway... Hey, it's monday night and I was just reflecting on today's events. Well, we learned a new song called the "Military Song." It sounds really great and we're gonna play it on the 10th. Gah, I can't wait!!! I really hope ya'll can be there when we rawk out! Oh, I almost forgot about my trip to Austin... as you probably know, I got to go to the Cruiserweight cd release party/show. The rocked my socks off to the max!!! They are so down-to-earth. If anyone wanted to talk to them, the band would surely go out of their way to talk to them. I love those guys! Anyway, Leif got his new Mesa cab and it's stinkin huge!!! (CAN YOU TELL THAT I HAVE EXTREME A.D.D. YET?) Well, I think that's all I have to say for today. Later Dudes and Dudettes!!! If you are reading this, I love you because I don't think anyone ever reads this... word.

Hey guys! Wow, I am really looking forward to rawkin' out with all of you guys and seeing General Admission and the other bands. My dad's gonna bring the digital camera to both shows so there will be plenty of pictures up in a short while. This month has been so rad! Last week I saw Cruiserweight in Austin, this week i'm playing too shows, and next week... THE IMPOSSIBLES!!! Gah, I can't wait! I will be sure to include every detail of our shows and the Impossibles. Well, I guess that's it. Later!

Hey guys!... gah this weekend rawked out so freakin hard! It was a great experience to play at the P.A.R.C. on Friday. We got to play with General Admission, who are some of our good friends. That way, a lot of people came and saw us that normally wouldn't have checked us out. There was a butt-load of people that got to hear us for the first time. The people were so crazy... there was plenty enough moshing, skanking, dancing, yelling, etc. to wear a guy out. IT WAS A GREAT TIME!!! The Javajazz show, of course, was a blast! It seems like everytime I go there, the ambience is fresh and exciting. It feels like a different place everytime I go there. There was a ton of jumping, dancing, and (surprisingly), singing along at this show which totally added to the sense of energy and excitement. At the end of Lifelong Consequences, most of our friends hopped on stage and jumped around with us as we blasted out our last song and the end of our set. That was definitely the highlight of my night. Let me just say this... THE CONROE CROWD KNOWS HOW TO ROCK!!! They never cease to amaze me one bit. Thanx to all our friends who came out to support us-- we can never thank you enough!

Hey you guys! Well, yesterday was one of the best days of my life! First of all, we got to record six songs for a demo, which should be ready in a couple of weeks. It was my first experience with the recording aspect of our band and it greatly exceeded my expectations. We had to record the music and vocals at the same time, so what you guys hear on the cd is totally live. Thanks Neal, for hookin us up with that dude. I LOVE YOU!!! Just when I thought the day could not get any better... it did. We met back up at Leif's house at 5:00 and headed down to Fitzgerald's to see The Impossibles. All I can say about The Impossibles is... HOLY CRAP!!! They rock my socks off everytime I see them! They had a brand new drummer that messed up a lot, but it didn't affect them rawkin' out one little bit. Well, after recording a tight demo and seeing one of my favorite bands totally blow me away, I can definitely say that I'll be going to bed tonight a very satisfied little boy! Good night.

Hey ya'll! Man I'm at my aunt's house and wow I ate a BUTTLOAD of food yesterday. We need to play another show so I can burn off like 20 pounds from all the turkey I ate. Well, if you saw me, I don't think you would recognize me at all. You see, I went to get my massive shag of hair trimmed up a little and the guy made me look really stupid (even more stupid than I already look.) So i just shaved it ALL off. I'm just gonna start growing it out all over again. Yeah, I look way different... Oh well, at least I still have my arms and legs. OH YEAH!!! I also got a new Marshall 1960A 4X12 cab. It's awesome! Well, I guess I'll go eat some more leftovers now... LATER!
