• 12/14/04- We will be going into the studio sometime in late december or early january.We have 5 song demo that we are doing. The tracks we will be doing will be: SureFly-Take a Good Ride-Rapped Around-Blackend Positions-Velvet Rain. We will be in the studio with Tanner M. So there will be updates on the progress and when it is comeing out.
• 12/21/04- The band is talking to the guys at Cave 9 and hopefully we can get a show, Robby's old band played there and from what he says its a pretty good show to play. Aron from Cave9 is just working out a friday or saterday night that we can play, and we think seens we got such a good response from unplugged we should be able to get alot of people to come and see us. We hope we can get a date from Cave 9 sometime soon, so we will keep you posted.
• 12/27/04- Well guys we are now talking to both Cave9 and Mike B. from the Hambone. Mike B. sets up shows for Cave9, Sobo, and various other places. He told us that he will be finding us a show with a few bands to play at Sobo. He said about January 5th is when the next time he will know when he can give us a show, he said we would be playing with two or three bands on a Fri or Sat night. It will be all ages and that means everyone can come(no excuses). So please come out and see us at Sobo when we tell you guys the date. Also we will be recording it on camera and takeing pictures for the website, so if you guys want a tape come and ask us and we will make a copy for you.We are also now going into the studio sometime this week, either wensday or thursday of this week, the demo should be done by the end of January.
• 12/29/04- Here they are the new pictures, we practice today and took alot of good pictures i think. The website isn't that weak anymore,hopefully. We still need to fill up the show pictures section but it will come, so there you guys , HERE WE ARE.
• 1/03/05- Well people we as a band have decided to not record with Tanner M. he is still a great recording and wrighting artist but Tanner and us kinda went our separate ways. So we don't know where we are recording yet, and I know that is a bummer for you guys because alot of you were waiting on the demo to come out, but its just a set back. The band has come up with 3 or 4 options we can go to. Desmond has a guy he knows that has a wonderfull studio and Desmond's cousin might be comeing out with us to record us. The we also have the option of Robby's old guitar teacher, or a friend that we know, or if all eles fails then Robby will record us. He might not be the greatest at recording but he knows alittle bit. And as you all know the show last Sunday kinda fell through and we didn't play, so no pictures were taken. We are verry sorry to the people that were going that we had to cancel on and we are verry sorry to the people that were looking forward to the pictures of it that couldn't make it, but as you all know we are still talking to people and still trying to work out shows. So more updates for you all will be comeing soon.
• 1/04/05- Out of no where Aron from Cave9 told us we could play on January 8th, it was really short notice but we are ready. We will be takeing pictures and all that for the website, and we are verry verry happy something like this came up when it did.
• 1/06/05- The show went verry verry good. We played with all the energy we could give, and the whole band was verry happy with our performance. Alot of people showed up wich gave us alot of energy to feed off of. All the bands we played with did verry well considering they had been driving all day from different parts of the U.S. for their tour. We have alot of pictures that Robby's girlfriend took, hopefully their good. We wont know if their good or not untill we get them developed. Which brings me to my next subject, the pictures will be posted proubley in the next few days or next week sometime. Thank you to all the people that came out, it was a great great show.We plan to book another show with Cave9 sometime soon so we will keep you posted.
• 1/12/05- We finally have the pictures of the show from Cave9 so please enjoy, and for all the people that couldn't go to the show you missed a great show but here are the pictures and there will be more shows to come just keep checking with us.
• 1/25/05- Well we are still working hard with the music and we still are working out the whole studio proublem. We are still talking to Robby's old guitar teacher about recording us. We had a major upset in the band a few weeks ago, Desmod didn't have any drums. The church that was letting him use their drums said he couldn't use them anymore. SO we were in a tight situation. But finally after Desmond search he finally found a drum set he liked and has already ordered it. Their will be a picture of Desmonds new drums on the Gear part of the site along with a new picture of Robb'y new guitar he got. We are still planning out shows and still working hard at everything. We are planning a show in the U of A , at a place called The Back Porch, we don't know if we want to play there or somewhere eles over there. So we will keep you all posted , and maybe some people can ride down their with us and see the show along with the other people that usally come to that place on weekend nights.
• 1/30/05- Well people , we are narrowing the studios down, and we hate comeing on here and saying the same thing, but finally we have some news for you guys, there is a site that will promote our demo, this site has 150,000 people visit it a day, these people are all looking for good independent music, so after we finish the demo which will be sometime around this year, we are going to put our demo on cdbaby.com and they will promote our demo and we will sell it at like 5 or 6 dollars, the reason for 5 or 6 dollars is because for every cd we sell they get 4 dollars, but we really don't give a shit about the money we just want our music put out there, and this site is perfect for it.
• 2/3/05- On the website, there will be a new page, once we get the demo done, which is in the works right now, and once we put our cd on cdbaby.com, we will have link of our music and were to buy the demo, we plan on selling ourselfs it for 2 or 3 dollars, depending on if we know you, and if we know you really well then you wont have to pay anything, but the people who buy it off of cdbaby.com will be the people who are looking for indie music that is good on that website, and so anyone who wants to support this band , please buy our demo, and we hope we will please you guys. • 2/10/05-Yesterday Robby went into the studio with Tanner M. They will be working on the guitar and vocal tracks right now and once they are done with that they will be going into the drums and bass, Robby said that the sound that is comeing out of this is the best sound he has heard in along time, the quality is verry good, it is worth any amount of money for the demo to sound like that. SO they will be in the studio for about the next for weeks and then we will start recording the drums and bass, so everyone get ready for a badass demo.
• 2/14/05- Happy holiday's from ClockWork. Well people we are makeing shirts, we have alot of logos to choose from and we won't charge you. All you have to do is bring anyone in the band a white t-shirt and pick a logo and you are done. We will be wearing our t-shirts around school. Also in other news, there is another recording date, Robby is suppose to be going into the studio this wensday to record some more vocal and guitar tracks. We don't know yet weather we will take pictures, but we are proubley going to. We will take alot of them and they will be posted once recording is done or peice by peice. We wont tell you guys everytime we record but we will tell you the main ones and our progress. The tracks that have been laid down sound great. THis demo will sound as good as any cd you listen to, and we know there is alot of people out there waiting to hear it so it will be out in the next two months and that is just if we are on schedule. So every look out for our shirts and please wear them around the school and anywhere eles.
• 2/24/05- The battle of the bands will be comeing up in a week. The show starts at 6:30 and there is no telling on how many bands will be in this thing. We will be playing four soungs( thats all they give us time to do) but the songs will be Surefly,Drug of choice,Red poses, Blackend positions. Please come out and support the band. We are working hard on our demo right now, we are three songs away from starting the drums and bass tracks. We wanted to thank Tanner M for all his help and work he is doing for us. There will be a new song on the demo that not to many people have heard, its a badass song and it will make you want to sit down and just listen. We hope for the demo to be out in the next mounth so we will keep you updated.
• 3/7/05- Fri night is the battle of the bands and we will hopefully be taking pictures of it, so everyone who can’t make it can see it on the website. So everyone try to come out and see us and if you can't hopefully the pictures will be on after battle of the bands. Peace
• 3/10/05- It is the night before the B.O.B and we are very excited to playing with everyone. We plan to be playing 4 of our best songs (in our opinion). We have to more sessions of guitar and vocals with Tanner M. and after that we will have 5 sessions of drums and bass. We are talking to King Elementary about playing with them in Mississippi. We think it would be a good show. We are big fans of their music and are waiting for their debut CD to come out. I think it is suppose to come out in July. But any way, we look forward to playing with them. We are also talking to Cave 9 about another show. After our demo is out you will be able to get it in two places, one would be cdbaby.com, and the other would be through us for 2 dollars or so. The t-shirt's are on hold right now until we make some more logos. D is working on that, so they should be out sometime soon. So we hope to see everyone at the B.O.B tomorrow night, it’s at 6:30 and we go on at 8:20. I think it is 5 dollars to get in.
• 3/12/05- The B.O.B went really well. We played alright, but everyone really seemed to enjoy it. We took a lot of pictures, and we put most of them on the site, for anyone who missed it, you guys missed a great show, but there will be others to come. And we would like to thank all the bands that played, and the band that won, we got 4th out of 11. So everyone thanks for coming to see us and we very much enjoyed it.

• 3/23/05- Well it has been a long and fun night, but we decided to post this, there is a site called purevolume.com that specializes in playing unsigned bands, which most of the bands in Birmingham are signed on to it, so we thought we would sign on to it, so now we are signed on to it and we have pictures from B.O.B on it, and we uploaded Drug of Choice on there, so now you guys have something to listen to, it is a very old recording, and you probably have to turn it up to hear it well, but we will put some more stuff on there once we record some more stuff. But you won't be able to check it for another 3 days because it takes them awhile to work the shit but we are glade to have something for you guys to listen to, the recording was made about a year ago with Tanner M. So enjoy. It will be a link on our site once it is up.
• 3/31/05-We have just been invited to play at Cave9 on June 4th. It’s right after we all graduate, so it’s something to kick off the summer right. The show was scheduled for April 23rd but everyone had something going on then so we couldn’t, so now we will be playing June 4th. In other news, our demo is a little behind schedule but not too much, we still have 2 sessions of guitar and vocal tracks, then on to the drums and bass. Robby should be finishing up this Saturday or the next. We are planning a show in T-Town at the Back Porch; it is this bar on the strip. If anyone wants to go we are more than happy to take you or you ride with us. We are also still planning the show with King Elementary in Mississippi, so everyone look for that and maybe some people can go with us. • 4/11/05- There has been alot of promotion for our band on the internet. With the new demo coming out very soon we needed somewhere to be heard. So we are on purevolume.com and myspace.com/clockworkal . Alot of new people have been listening to old recordings and we are ready for them to hear the new stuff. We have a song on my space that Robby recorded himself, and it is kind of a sample to our new stuff. We are happy to say that the drums and bass should be done in the next month. The demo is going to sound great and it is coming out at the best time. This june and july we shall be playing in several venues. For one we will be playing in Mississippi with King Elementary, and then we have the show at Cave9 and then we also have been talking to the Back Door in T-town and they have said once we give them a demo we will play there during june or july. So everyone who wants to come with us to these shows come and tell us and we will take you along. Our CD will also be sold on the Internet at cdbaby,com . You can also get it from us for 2$( unlesswe know you really well.) So this is our news and we will be posting more when we have it.
• 4/25/05- Well people we have alot to tell. We are working for the demo to be out in the next couple of weeks. Along with that we have alot of shows that might be coming up. First we have the Cave9 show wich is a cool place, and then we have once our demo is done T-town at the Back Door, Then we have been talking to a guy from Avendale Alabama and there is this big Studio party that goes on and he wants to see us and hear us first but we will most likely be playing in front of about 250 people. Then we also have the Mississippi show with King Elementary in June or July, then for the last part we are working on a show in Nashville Ten. A management company has asked us to play with a band called the Hot Rocks here, in exchange for a show there. All of this will be updated and put on the site once we have the final word. But we hope to have the demo soon, and we are working very hard for it. So everyone will be posted soon.
