Drums
Hey out there! So you want to hear about my rocking kit huh? Well then you came to the right place!
I play a five piece Fibes acrylic Crystalite set. Of course, I had to get the jellybean set because I couldn't just have one color, I had to have them all! They are the best sounding drums in the world! The toms are mounted using the DSS system. My floor tom however has conventional legs. I think Fibes put it best when they said "Clearly Superior". Let's just say, I'll be keeping this set for a long long long time. Hey, it's my trademark :)
My drums are:
Bass: 18"x24" in Yellow
Snare: 5 1/2"x14" SFT model in Blue
Tom: 10"x12" in Orange
Tom: 11"x13" in Green
Tom: 16"x16" in Red
Cymbals
When it comes down to cymbals, I choose Zildjian. They have an awesome ring and projection to them. Right now I play the ZBT Plus'. I have a 20" ride, a 16" crash, 10" splash and 14" hi hats.
Hardware
I use strickly the best in hardware. I play DW! I use a DW 5000 Hi hat stand which is very sturdy, and dependable. My cymbal stands are DW 8700's. I use a double bass DW 7000 foot pedal for all the CCR tunes! Heavy stuff, builds muscle.
Sticks
My stick of choice is Regal Tip's 5A with nylon tip. I just love the feel of those sticks. I also enjoy their 5B wooden tip stick. If I don't have Regal Tip, you'll see me play with Pro-Marks. Either of the 5B's with nylon or wood tips are just fine.
