These cars are 1:28 scale, and I mean scale, they look amazing. The price for one of these is +/- $100, but you'll be spending a little more then that if you want to do some serious racing with them. They are, however, Ready To Run right out of the box. All you need is batteries for the controller and the car and your ready to go. The car requires 4 AAA batteries, rechargeables are best, but any AAA size battery will work. The controller will need 8 AA batteries. One the the nice things about these cars is that they will run for about an HOUR on one set or charge of batteries. But before you go buying one, you might want to keep in mind that these cars are definately not toys. They run 10mph+ stock and can be modified to go 30mph+.
