What can we do?
Use "word of mouth": Tell everyone you know about this great new CA Indie band you know about.
Play the cd's where others can hear.
Print off flyers from this website and pass them out at high schools, colleges, independant music stores, concerts,etc.
Request to hear the bands music on local and college radio stations. Direct them to www.ghostoftherobot.com for information about the band and mp3 samples.
Make buttons, bumper stickers, anything that will catch attention. Be sure to place the official site's url somewhere on the design and get approval from Graphics before distributing.
Add band avatars/icons to your message board profiles, signatures etc.
Visit other music related sites/message boards/chat rooms and mention the band and the official site in your posts or guestbook comments.
Do not use any images/photographs that are not your own without permission. This is especially true for copyrighted images.
Do not copy or reproduce the single or full cd in anyway.
Do not solicit interviews, appearances etc for the band
If you produce any promo merchandise for others, you may ask for restitution for supplies and shipping only. Absolutely no profit can be accepted from the sell
The StreetTEAM is a volunteer group consisting of fans of Ghost of the Robot. We are a not-for-profit organization that exists for the purpose of spreading the word about the band and their music. The StreetTEAM supports the band, their music and performances on a fan based level.
The StreetTEAM has no "official" position beyond those stated in "What is the StreetTEAM". However we are answerable to the band and their management (who were hired by the band and represent their wishes to how they would like to be promoted.)
