There is no way that you can look at 40 Below Summer and say that they are just like every other numetal bad. It just isn't possible. They lyrics go from a depth of sadness and total rejection to up in your face screaming anger. Which in a way states that there is something for everyone.

40 Below summer was born in 1998 with Max, Carlos and Joe being its core founders. Then in 1999 Jordan Plingos (guitar player), who grew up in a music based family joined the band. The four played well together, but they were missing one vital element, a bass player. In October of 2000 Hector Graziani filled the position. The band had already put out a self-manufactured CD, Sideshow Freaks, and were doing gigs in New Jersey and New York. Sideshow Freaks found its way to No Name Management, who is home to Fear Factory and Slipknot, and a week after Hector joined the band was already working on a record deal. 40 Below did a few showcases on the coasts and that is when London-sire caught eye of them. Now they are working on their album Invitation to the Dance with producer Garth Richardson. This album will be released on October 16, 2001, but for now it is nothing but hardcore touring in the states for this Jersey based band.
