On April 10, 2003, 38th Parallel was invited to the 38th Annual Dove Awards. The guys had the honor of having their album "Turn The Tides" nominated for Best Rock Album of the year. The award ended up going to the group Audio Adrenaline for their album "Lift".

Sonic Fuel, a Wal-Mart summer music sampler featuring 38th Parallel, just came out this Tuesday.September 10th, "Let's Roll", a tribute CD for September 11th hero, Todd Beamer, hits stores nationally.It will feature: 38th Parallel's "Horizon", a collaboration of various national artists called "Lord's Prayer", world famous cello player Yo-Yo Ma, and the title track, "Let's Roll", performed by DC Talk. Todd Beamer was one of the passengers responsible for the plane crashing in Pennsylvania instead of crashing into the White House on 9/11. Look for 38th Parallel this fall on "Shoutfest", a 30+ city traveling tour including Salvador, Rachel Lampa, Jeff Deyo, Daily Planet, Rock and Roll Worship Circus, and Brother's Keeper.
