-New Year's Challenge-

I'm bored. It's late at night. These things aren't mixing well. Naturally, because of this, and because I'm antsy with all the plot bunnies that are running around me lately, AND because it seems like the list has been fairly slow, I feel the need to stir things up. So I'm issuing a challenge! I know we don't have a lot of them around, but hey, who cares. I'm bored, remember?

Okay. I'm thinking this should be something vaguely New Year's related, since we always have a slew of fics on the topic anyway. So here are my requirements:

1) Any rating, G to NC-17 goes.

2) The boys CAN NOT KISS at midnight. For whatever reason, I don't care. Something goes awry, they're not together, they miss the NYC ball drop by seconds, whatever. Get creative.

3) Any pairing, of course.

4) Pick seven (no more, no less) of the following items:

-one broken pinball machine
-one working pocket watch
-one trashy romance novel by Jude Devereaux
-one rubber ducky, painted blue
-one green snakeskin cowboy hat
-one tube mint lipgloss (or chapstick)
-one (or one pack of) orange post-it notes
-two tangled strings of christmas lights
-two mismatched socks
-three long-stemmed roses
-four peacock feathers
-mardi gras beads
-quote from "Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail"
-reference to an obscure New Year's Eve tradition (ie, Italians always wear red underwear. no, really! we do! it's good luck! or something.)

This will not be for a prize (as if alleviating my boredom isn't prize enough? pft.) but I'll try and make a nifty banner for all those who participate, and, of course, I'll put all the results on my website. Questions? Feel free to email me. I'm always available!

Darren is a dipwad, Daniel glows and glistens, Ben has a very small part but made me pass out from the giggles, and Lee tries to hug people a little too often to be straight and narrow. *waggles eyebrows* This is hilarious, wonderful, and beyond cute. Adore it! I command you!
