ABOUT WEST COAST ROCK BANDS:

Have you noticed that main stream rock and roll is fading out of the sight of the music industry? With the exception of a few "Pop-Rock" groups, MTV wont play ROCK and ROLL videos anymore...radio has pushed so much "Electronic-Pop" stuff at the public that I can barely remember the time when you actually had to be able to play an instrument, write a "good" song, or just be a kick-ass vocalist in order to get a record contract. This, of course, is not to mention the public who has been caught up in a "Boy and Girl Band" frenzy (I use the term "BAND" very loosely when refering to these groups). And to the young independent artist who is forced to surf the wake of "Big Music's" low standards,"What are you to do?". Has rock music died in the minds of our culture? The big question..."Where has the heart and soul of true music gone?". I have a hard time believing that it has died. Maybe it's just hidding...

This is where WEST COAST ROCK BANDS will hopefully come into play…

I now that's it's starting small, but starting small is what it's all about. The idea here is to bring National and Independent acts together. It's that simple. We all need to work together to bring fresh new music to our fans...to get people excited about Rock and Roll. And most of all to show the music mainstream that Rock and Roll won't fade, and will never die!
