October 7, 2002
Statement by Project Pitchfork: We regret to say that we have established that since September 30, 2002 there is obviously some problems with the copy protection on our new album ´inferno´. Originally we decided against having copy protection on the CD, however since the release, it has come to our knowledge that the CD does indeed have copy protection on it. The upper management of Warner made this decision of copy protection: it is their feeling that all CDs should have copy protection. If we released the album without copy protection the release will not be until 2003. Unfortunately, with this copy protection some fans will have problems because some players will not be able to play the disc, for this we apologize. However the remaining parts of ´nun´ the trilogy are being manufactured without copy protection. We would like it to be known that copying CDs outside the legal specifications harm the entire industry the small record stores, indie-labels, recording studios, graphic designers, and the bands, but unfortunately, when the CDs are copy protected some players will not play the CDs, and there has been no other solutions given. ----Project Pitchfork

The French film "Reptile Zone," which features appearences by Project Pitchfork and numerous fans, is finished. The first premiere is to be on Thursday December 14, 2001 in Paris before the film crew. The planned alotted time was 8-10 minutes and now it will be 12 minutes, which will include the songs "Timekiller," "Conjure," and "Rescue". Numerous extras and concert-goers may discover themselves in the film. The film might be considered in the category "comical". Further information will be posted here.

The labels contained on the new cd have been mismatched. It seems that the labels were reversed during the manufacturing (i.e. Cd 1 is now labeled with Cd 2's label and vice versa). Unfortunately this error exist with the entire batch that was produced and therefore a conversion is not possible

Over the vast years to the present of Project Pitchfork's existence there have been a collection of rare unreleased tracks (songs), which are no longer in print and are unavailable. If one has acquired these tracks, it has only been after laborious efforts. Therefore, these tracks, which appear on limited editions, are not readily available. There has been a desire expressed (among other things on the forum) to re-release these songs.
Currently, we are working on the production of such a compilation with a working title of "Collector - Lost and Found," which will appear yet this year. Further information regarding exact track listing to follow soon.
October 11, 2001
The planned live DVD from Project Pitchfork will no longer appear this year. A demanding DVD production has caused a need for more time than calculated. Also legal questions are taking more time than planned. For these reasons we are not predicting a release date.
A performance by Project Pitchfork from the Taubertal Festival 2001 will be broadcoasted from Bavarian television at the various times as posted:
Oct. 23, 2001 at 11:50PM (23:50)- one song
You can receive this broadcast From German Cable television

Project Pitchfork are to be in a motion picture, entitled "Mic Dans Tous Ses Etats". After the show in Paris, a collaboration with a production team was established for a French motion picture. The film is about a young person's life, whose high point is a concert experience with Project Pitchfork. The filming began in April in Marseille. The concert footage, however, is presumably to be filmed in Germany. This special show is planned to be on July 6, 2001.
May 16, 2001
The official site of the band has now created an english forum. The forum has been developed to give all those fans who perhaps do not read/write German well a chance to meet other fans around the world, as well as give them opportunity to partake in discussions. Currently, there are many German fans initiating posts on the English forum and awaiting to hear from all of you!

For all those who were unable to view the live-stream, my apologies. The reason for all the difficulties was that there was too many people trying to access the server at the same time. Currently, the company that covered this event is in negotiation with the band's promotion agency to perhaps stream two or three songs in the future. However, there are live photos from the event and a video interview that are planned to be online in a couple of weeks. Details will be posted as they become available.

The band began filming the Video for the new single "Existence" on December 17, 2000, in the desert of Morocco. Zillo magazine has sent a reporter to this location to cover the event, which is to appear in the February edition of the magazine.
On the past Friday Project Pitchfork presented a live perfomance of the new single "Existence" at MTV's festival "Show Your Face Against Violence," on the sold out exhibithall 7 in Leipzig.
Unfortunately, there were considerable problems with the sound. This was due to the fact that there were 24 bands to play on a single stage and not enough time allotted for the preparation for each band. The sound of the broadcast was slightly worse than the live sound production. The sound of the song was misrepresented, due to the lack of preparation for each band; if one was to experience the song in its magnitude, prior to attending a live performance one must go to a club after Christmas. Four hundred DJs are to review this titlesong.
December 13, 2000
Project Pitchfork's playing time on Friday December 15, 2000 will be at 10:15 PM (22:15) in Leipzig. In the four hours prior to their performance the festival will feature acts such as H-Blockx, Orange Blue, Massive Tone, Liquido, Blumentopf, Readymade, and And One. This festival is to be televised by European MTV.
December 6, 2000
The Project Pitchfork single due out January 29, 2001 will have two versions available. The first will include the titlesong and a remix by Project Pitchfork, also two unreleased tracks on it called "The Clone" and "Fear". And for those who like Remixes the other version will have two remixes of the Titlesong by Project Pitchfork and also include Remixes by VNV Nation and Zeromancer. There will be differences in the covers of these MCDs.

The December issue of Orkus Magazine will feature the lastest Project Pitchfork history and a studio report, including photos of Candyland Studio. Stefan Brunner of Orkus Magazine has written a biography of the band, which can be found on the official site, however, I am uncertain if this is the one to be found in the December issue.

November 9, 1999
Digital Underground still has not received the EON:EON tour video as of yet, and are unsure when it will arrive. Metropolis
Records also does not know when the video will arrive in the states, but stated they will still be releasing it here in America.
Currently the band is working on a new album which is tentatively due out March or April of 2000.
August 11, 1999
Metropolis Records is now going to be releasing the new tour video in America, which will be available through Digital
Underground. I have spoken with a representative from both companies. The representative from Metropolis said that Kai has
posted this information through his website, but Metropolis does not have word when the videos will arrive.
The Representative from Digital Underground also stated that video is not available and will not be for 3-4 months, and are not
taking preoders for the video. The rep. stated that when it is available it will be posted their website and plenty in stock.
As for the Jansen/Spilles project neither party has any word of this being available in America.
July 19, 1999
First off, I would like to take a second to apologize for the lack of new news showing up here. I have been working on a few
updates for the page that I hope you like.
Now, to get you caught back up.....
A new video is scheduled to be released this August on the 23rd, an Eon-Eon tour video including clips of various videos and
some exclusive footage of the making of SteelRose. It also contains backstage footage, and if my memory serves me right it
also has footage of the Chakra:Red tour in America. This video is being released in Europe for sure, but for us in America,
rumour has it that Metropolis Records is not real interested in picking it up over here. So, if you want to see it here, make sure
you take the time to let Metropolis know.
And don't forget that August will bring the Zillo Festival and the Eurorock Festival as well!!
As for all of the impatient Pitchfork fans, The next album is due out in March or April next year (2000).
