Blank-Wave Arcade
review from Lost at Sea
I'm talking about good good good. So, you know, I hear "new wave rock outfit" and I have high hopes. Maybe it'll work, maybe not. But as it turns out, not only is it working, but they are working IT all over the place. The synthesizers abound and the lyrics are oh so sexual. Everything is happening on this album and to top it all off the band has s-t-y-l-e. It's tight knit and multi layered, but what really puts the Faint over the top is that the only thing they are rehashing is some good old fashioned new wave terror. The primadonnas tried it out, but the Faint seems to have really laid it all down just right. C'est le bomb.
