One the more surprising favorites this issue comes courtesy of The Faint, an experimental dark wave indie-pop band that dabbles in electronic synthesized music. With the use of keyboards, drum machines and other synthetic tools, the Faint is rejuvinating 80's new wave while giving it a swift kick in the ass. Stands out from the usual crap I get sent to me each issue. A definite keeper.
