Joe is a hepcat who lives and resides in the outskirts of south Aylesford. He's a 16 year old swinger with an eye for music and an ear for good looks. He plays guitar and is the lead signer for Speedbump. Joe has been hammering on his axe (playing his guitar) for about 5 years, and has been vocally active since 2 or 2 and a half years of age. However, he only really started singing since grade 4 choir. Joe started his band endevours with a young group in grade 7 called "Anarchy". This four piece powerhouse had one gig and two songs, and eventually decided to break up after minor band disagreements... (couldn't decide what to call their first album). Joe moved on to a three piece garage band called "Medium Rare". This was Joe's first band situation playing with drummer, Michael Fredericks. "Medium Rare" proved to be a step up from "Anarchy", yet it was lacking in band leadership and artistic direction. After fallout of lead guitarist Phil Dompierre, the band was simply treading water and running out of breath. They were loved by many and not forgotten. The splitting of "Medium Rare" sank Joe into a deep dark depression. He sank into frequent drug abuse and distanced himself from reality. It was only when the oppurtunity for Speedbump arose that he got back on his feet and cleaned up his act. Now Joe is livin' it up, with a brand new hairstyle and a loving girlfriend by his side. Look what Speedbump will do to a man. It is truely a marvel of nature, and a bright flashing light to all things shadowed.
