The sun was shining bright that day,
in it's own suggestive way
They packed their bags and hit the open road.
It wasn't long before they found,
that they were on the edge of town
where they could rest and drop their heavy load.

It's like a magnet pulling me
back to the earth
Each time I go away I'd say
the force begins to work
It's like there's something telling me
not to let them know
that it's already a closed show

A man pulled up and with a grin
He said he knew the state they're in
and hurried off before the boys were fed
They got to town without a blow
and headed for the open show
They read the sign and closed was all it said
