My name is Melissa Shouldice, I live in Brick, NJ, and I was born on February 23, 1983. I like a lot of stuff: (obviously) tattoos and piercings, music (singing, writing, playing, listening to, and dancing to), my cat Havok, driving around, Buddhism, reading, learning, wishing I could travel more, meeting people I can talk to for hours, wishing I could go to more shows, horror movies (Dawn of the Dead, House of 1000 Corpses, Cemetary Man, The Exorcist, etc.), comedies (Orgazmo, Dazed and Confused, Bio-Dome, Howard the Duck, etc.), the Boondock Saints (my all-time fave), and bands (such as AFI, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Glassjaw, Kid Dynamite, Le Tigre, Coheed and Cambria, the Lunachicks, Sex Positions, the Refused, Cibo Matto, the Bronx, Bikini Kill...I could go on forever). I get tattood mainly to express myself. I love body art. I always have. I think it's very spiritual and emotional; okay...I don't cry when I get one, but after it's over, it's like I'm reborn, refreshed, rejuvenated. It is what makes me feel like myself. I also wish I had more money and time to get more ink. Yeah, I do a whole lotta wishin'.
