Are all drummers crazy?

"Some are more nuts than others. I've had my moments. But I don't think I'm really a typical drummer. I've met some that I couldn't keep up with."

What's the best advice you could give to a young guitar player who wants to write songs?

"Keep your brow dry and your underwear moist."

If you could be the lover of someone famous - from past or present - who would it be?

"It would have been nice to have gotten to know Lady Di"

If you could relive one day from your past, which would it be, and would you do anything differently?

"I can think of maybe a couple of days before my accident or the day of my accident that I could have definitely done things slightly different."

What's the first thing you would save if your house was on fire, other than a person?

"I think I'd grab my wallet on the way out."

If you could be any fictional character, who would it be?

"Spiderman."

What world's record would you most like to hold?

"Definitetly not the smallest penis in the world!"

Last Song You Wish You'd Written?

"I've only ever written two or three song parts in my life ... Er, no, actually I wrote the entire Slang album, but the band will never admit to that! I don't mind carrying those deadweights - at least they're decent company. I wish I'd written 'Happy Birthday', just for the royalties."

Last Good Drummer Joke You Heard?

"Oh, I hear them all the fucking time. How do you know when the drum riser is level? The drummer drools out of both sides of his mouth!"

How Long Can You Last?

"As long as it takes. When you've got one arm and three legs, sex is something you have to do..."

What song would you like to cover?

"I'd love to do a really cool version of 'Paperback Writer'."

Have you ever had a supernatural experience, seen a ghost or UFO?

"Not that I can put my finger on, but there have been some strange experiences"

If you could be invisible for a day, where would you go and what would you do?

"I'd have a wander around Bangkok, that would be a really cool place to go."

What was the biggest mistake you ever made?

"I don't think I can answer that one!"

What's the best concert you ever attended?

"Robert Plant and Jimmy Page at the Forum, it was great."

What's your all-time favorite TV show?

"I love Star Trek. Anything sci-fi."

What musicians, living or dead, would you put together in a supergroup?

"Hendrix as a singer/guitar player, Steve Clark, John Bonham, and Phil Lynott."

What's your specialty in the kitchen?

"Pasta. The other day I made something really good with portabello mushrooms, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, and I crucify them in the skillet."

On What TV Show would you like to be a guest?

"Friends."

Where's the most unusual place you had sex?

"A camaro."

What's always in your refrigerator?

"O'Doul's, ice cream, Diet Coke."

What's your favorite childhood memory?

"Getting my first drum kit at 10."

What was the worst thing that ever happened to you on stage?

"We were doing this outdoor show in Salt Lake City, we were about a mile above sea level to start with and it was about 45 minutes before I got my first break. During the sound check they didn't have a drape up but for the show they put it up right behind the drum kit. When I got up, the lighting rig was really low and I hit my head on it, and grabbed hold of what I thought was a solid wall but it was the drape and I fell off the back of the stage. I almost lost a testicle. I had quite a bruise."

Can you tell us about your first car?

"It was my mother's car, a Mini, made by British Leyland, black, really small. Must've been a late '70's model. A friend of mine put his foot through the floorboard, there was that much rust underneath."

"'Get a real job'. I still get that from my old relatives."
