John Heffelfinger

Apparently, John's working on the third draft
of the 19th chapter of his personal bio...
quite the work in progress, eh?

So I'll tell you a little about Heff...

First off, that's not his real hair
(he usually doesn't wear a bow!)

John also likes country music...yeeee haw!
He was in a country rock band with Tom and Eddie
called Blazing Saddles, way back when I was like 5 years old!

He stumbled upon the idea for Number Nine when he saw the Beatles cover band,
A Hard Night's Day, performing while he was living in Texas.

John can play every instrument except drums.
Here's a list of all the instruments he plays in Number Nine:
Keyboards
Guitar (electric and acoustic)
Tambourine
Cowbell
Maracas
Shaker
and last but not least...the kazoo!

John's vast knowledge of the Beatles' material, especially the intricate vocal harmonies,
is what makes Number Nine a good band...even though he still gets the songs from
Revolver and Rubber Soul mixed up!

John's the guy who makes it all "come together!"

John's favorite TV show is The Simpsons...
He also enjoys The Three Stooges, The Beverly Hillbillies...
and Spongebob Squarepants!
