THE MANIA!
INTRODUCING THE BRAND NEW LUZER LINE-UP!

9.14.06

LUZER will be featuring a brand new line-up when it takes this stage for the first time in nearly two months on October 7. Since the departure of guitarist R. Dan "Sally" Salyerds in August the band has been in rehearsals with new bassist Krishna "The Mania" Vasudevan, with former bassist Chris Volk moving back over to his original instrument of choice, guitar. The new line-up (rounded out by founding members Timmy Sean and Dan Seeth) will also be joined on select performances by Philadelphia keyboardist John Icaro.

The new line-up of LUZER will be making their debut on Saturday, October 7 at two all-ages performances in Baltimore, Maryland. The first show will be at The Baltimore Music Conference in Druid Hill Park (the park that inspired the name of 90's R&B act Dru Hill). LUZER will be taking the stage at 2:00 pm at The BMC, before heading down the road to Towson to perform with The Mahoney Brothers at Maryland's "premier concert venue" The Recher Theatre. Doors open at 8 pm at The Recher, with LUZER taking the stage at 8:30 pm sharp. (Tickets for The Baltimore Music Conference are available at www.baltimoremusicconference.com and tickets for The Recher Theatre show are available at any Ticketmaster location.)

Following the Baltimore debut, LUZER will be returning home for a number of NJ performances through out the fall (and beyond), so stay tuned to MySpace.com/LUZER and LUZERonline.com, and sign up for LUZER's E-Mail list for news on all upcoming LUZER events.

The departure of Robert Daniel "Sally" Salyerds from LUZER

9.12.06

Hello friends,

This is a bit of an awkward announcement for me to make, but our good friend R. Dan Salyerds (better known as the one and only Sally) has parted ways with LUZER.  We have split on very good terms, and all remain incredibly close friends.  Sally was one of the original founding members of the LUZE, along with Dan and I back in late 1999, and we all really grew up together.  We were all aware of the situation awhile ago, but wanted to enjoy our last performances together without any dramatic goodbyes.  We had a blast with Sally, and he will be missed...especially out on the road (his "Snake Handlers Religion Song" has grown into a thing of legend), but we will be continuing on with a new line-up that is ready to rock your collective bottoms off.  We are currently in rehearsals with the "all-new LUZER", and everything is coming together wonderfully (and I don't use "wonderfully" casually).

We will be making a full announcement on Thursday evening (September 14) announcing the new line-up, upcoming fall tour dates, and the debut of a very special LUZER recording over at www.myspace.com/LUZER and www.LUZERonline.com, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, we'd just like to thank everyone for all the support you've shown us over the last 5+ years, and I'd personally like to thank Sally for all the laughs....not making us laugh that is....literally all of his laughs that were the loudest, most over the-top, head-turning, movie-interrupting, Croux-pissing-off-ing, t-shirt cover-up-ing outbursts that will forever be etched in the rock of LUZER.

"TO SALLY!  FOR TAKING IT ALL IN STRIDE!"

-T$
