Also I'd like to apologize for not getting the mp3's up from the Yule Rock EP this week. A family emergency came up last minute, and especially with the holidays, certain things had to take priority. 12.9.03 Well its been a busy week working out some upcoming scheduling conflicts that arose (the picks of the week will now make their debut this Thursday), but everything has been taken care of and we can announce our good news and bad. First the bad...we are very sorry to announce that we will NOT be performing at The Zu in Dundalk, MD on the 20th. We would like to apologize to anyone that made plans to come out and see us, but we have rescheduled an always kick-ass Baltimore area appearance for late February which we will be able to announce in the next week or so. The good news is that we've firmed up a very special Christmas show minutes from our hometown of Hamilton, NJ for December 20. We will be performing with our good friends The Checkers & Cryptkeeper Five, as well as fellow Jersey rockers The Sidewalk Heroes. We'll have all the details for you tomorrow over at the tour page, but we are also very happy to announce we have made plans to release a very limited edition Christmas EP at the show on the 20th. The cd, entitled "The Yule Rock EP", will feature a few classic Christmas rockers with the extra special LUZER touch, as well as a brand new (and also the first ever) LUZER Christmas original, tenatively entitled "It's Another Christmas Night". The EP will be rounded out with two bonus tracks from our upcoming full-length album, the first from us in over three years. The new album and DVD won't be released for months, but you can get your hands on a copy of two of the new songs in less than two weeks, FREE WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE BRAND NEW YULE ROCK EP. 11.30.03 We've had good times aplenty in the last few weeks, and things are starting to head back to studio mode for most of December. We would like to thank as always, everyone who's come out to all of our recent shows, and a special ultra-cool-ultra-hip-shout-out goes out to the boys in Cryptkeeper Five for fast times at Finnigan's and a good helping of food and fun following an early show ("Goddamn!" cue the knee slap). We're working on a very special local Christmas show with all our buddies in some local bands, so prepare yourself for a local good time later this month. But in the meantime, we'll be back early this week with our first installments of the new "Picks of the Week" feature. It should not be missed. Just one note. We're playing an early ALL AGES show this Saturday evening at Finnigans, which is just five minutes down Rte. 130 from our hometown of Hamilton. It should be a good time with everyone back from college. We're looking forward to seeing everyone, and no one has any excuses. Its cheap, 6 bucks for three bands (us, The Checkers, and Cryptkeeper 5), its close (Finnigan's, Rte. 130 North, Hightstown...about a mile or so before you get to Regal Cinemas/Town Center), and you've all got nothing better to do.
