Wow, its been a LONG time since we've updated the site. My apologies, I've been really busy getting the upcoming dvd and live cd together, and preparing for the Down On The Farm show. As most of you know by now, we recorded a live dvd and cd soundtrack on October 25 out on Ellis Farms in Yardville, NJ. The show was a blast. The weather could've been a lot better, but with a few months worth of work put into it, a little bit of rain wasn't going to keep us away. Anyways, we'll have pics and some video samples up on the site in the next week, and we'll keep you posted on the status of the cd and dvd when we get it. Let me see, what else is new....well we hung out with the Strokes and Ben Folds. Scott Weiland stole Sally's hat at the Stone Temple Pilots show and wore it on stage. Those were some cool times. Also, Tim got a new amp since his conveniently stopped working halfway through the first set at DOTF. For you guitar guys out there, he picked up a Line 6 Flextone HD head, stereo 2x150 watt output, and a Line 6 4x12 slanted cab. For those of you who aren't guitar-lingo-friendly, he got a big loud amp. Well, I'll be on top of the news page in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back here at LUZERonline.com for tons of pics from Down On The Farm, and some other goodies too. One last thing, for those of you who haven't been to the schedule page recently, we've got a couple shows coming up in the next couple weeks. Once again we'll be playing with the Mahoney Brothers at The Thunderdome in Baltimore, MD on November 16, and performing with them for the third time at Cedar Gardens in Hamilton, NJ on November 29. Tickets for the Thunderdome show are available through ticketmaster.com by clicking here or at the door, and the Cedar Gardens tickets are available at Rock Dreams on Route 33 in Hamilton or by e-mailing me.
Well its been a good week. We started off Saturday night taking first in the Bensalem, PA Battle of the Bands. All the bands rocked, and we'd like to thank everyone who came out to catch our set! The bands were all cool guys, and we really didn't expect to win, being outsiders of the area and all. But we won some cool prizes, and we'd like to thank pretty much everyone out there for the support. Sunday looked like it was going to be a rain out, but after a little power problem we got our sets in, and "rocked out" at our first hometown performance in months. It was very cool to play for some old fans. On Monday we confirmed all the details to be on an upcoming KISS tribute CD called KISS This featuring The Donnas, The Youth Ahead, The Cryptkeeper 5, and MEMBERS OF THE BAY CITY ROLLERS! We'll be doing the KISS Klassic "Hard Luck Woman", and we'll be finishing up that track next Wednesday over at S.S. Sound Studios. It should be a really rockin' cd and we're glad to be a part of it. (thanks to Johnny from Cryptkeeper for the hook up) Finally, the best news of this week is that Tim got his hands on the Hard Days Night dvd an entire week before it is available in stores!!!!!!!!! We highly recommend everyone to pick up that, the Elvis 30 #1's cd, and the Queen Platinum collection all available this Tuesday at your local compact disc retailer. Finally, we also confirmed the date for THE BIGGEST LUZER SHOW TO DATE. Keep your calendar free this October 25th. More details to come soon....you've been warned...
Two rare FREE local appearances this weekend including the Hamilton Septemberfest this Sunday. Check out the schedule page...we hope to see you there!
Hey, just a quick note that we're now offering ALL NEW merchandise over at shop.luzeronline.com. You can just click the banner above and that will send you over there to check out all the new stuff. My personal pick is the Sally poster, but we've got tons of new stuff over there, so enjoy! Also a quick note, we got showtimes and more info on our two upcoming rare local shows around our home town. At the Septemberfest, we'll be playing from 1-3 over on the lake side of Veteran's Park (the Hamilton Hospital side entrance). We'll have better directions up and more info in the coming days, as well as some better quality streaming real video stuff on the (you guessed it) VIDEO page. Check back soon for a new update.
THE VIDEO PAGE HAS FINALLY BEEN UPDATED! MAJOR thanks to B Diddy, better known as Clarkie, for all the help. After months of promises on this very page, we finally got 'em up. So head over there now and check them out. Go...NOW....WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE??
Hey everyone. The pics just went up from Knoebels so if you want to check them out, stop over at the pics page. We'll have more stuff up soon. Come back on back now, y'hear...
Just a quick reminder. Anyone who is going to be in the central Jersey area tomorrow night, Saturday the 24th, should stop by the Cookie Cottage right in the Square of Hamilton to catch a night of the best acoustic duo this side of the Mississippi, VoLKaL, featuring our very own Chris Volk and our good friend Chris Moffo. There's also a rumor of a very special opening act on at 7:45 pm, so make sure to get there early. For more info, you can drop us an e-mail. Hope to see you all there at 7:45.
Hey everyone. Knoebels was a blast. We'd like to thank everyone who came out to catch our set, The Mahoney Bro's, Dick and Ron Knoebel, Hurricane on sound, Eric Croux on lights, Jay Swanson workin the side of the stage (pants or no pants), Chris LeFevre sitting in with us to make Leon Wilkeson proud, Erin Ellis for the hot LUZER pics from the weekend, the workers over at the chicken fry stand for keeping us fat all week, everyone else who helped us out during the week, and especially our new favorite band that filled in for our Saturday afternoon appearance, FoamHat. Keep posted to the site for some new video (once we get it all edited and digitized) from the shows last week, as well as some live audio from the sets, and a whole mess of pics. Also, last weeks appearance at the Middlesex County Fair proved to be much ado about nothing. The set went on as planned, and we rocked out to a small but enthused crowd. Thanks for everyone who came out even with the confusion. What can we say, its life on the road as the opening act ;). In other news, we made the cut for the Bensalem Arts Center Battle of the Bands for September 14. We need all our Jersey and local Pennsylania fans' support. We wanna rock the crowd there as best we can, and we could use all of your support. Bensalem is only a short drive from Philly, central and south Jersey. Check out our schedule page for directions and more info. Hope to see you all out there. Just like all of our shows, we'll have copies of the new CD, new posters, new stickers, and our brand new shirts. In the meantime, check out our page over at mp3.com which we'll be updating with some more new songs in the coming weeks. It already has the Japan only track April, and we'll be rotating that with three other Japanese exclusive bonus tracks. Until next time, enjoy the rock and the roll.
Hey everyone. Just a quick update for this weekend. We're sorry to announce that we won't be playing this Saturday at the Middlesex County Fair. There was a scheduling conflict with the fair, and they cut our set. We'd like to apologize to anyone who was planning on coming out. But we will still be there signing copies of the brand new cd EPisode II (free poster with purchase of the new cd), so feel free to stop by and visit us. Also Sally, Tim, and Volk will most likely sit in on a set with The Mahoney Brothers. In better news, we have the showtimes and details for Knoebels all next week. Visit our schedule page or just click here for all the info about our sets next week. We'll be pulling out all the stops every night, including our new stage set from LIVESTOCK, some new songs from the Japanese release of Fake Ass Rock Star, and more, so if you are going to be in the central Pennsylvania area anytime from August 12 through the 18th, or you want to take a funfilled day trip out to a cool ass amusement park and here some good ol rock 'n roll, come on out. Finally, our new shirts are due in tomorrow night, and they came out pretty bad ass in my own humble opinion. We only got a limited run this time, so come out to one of our upcoming shows and pick up one or 10 for you and the family. Hope to see you all at one of the upcoming shows. Rock out....
Well, its finally here. Fake Ass Rock Star EPisode II is now available for purchase. What exactly is EPisode II you say? Well, we entered the studio this past spring to record some songs for the Japanese release of Fake Ass Rock Star, to release the EP as a full length album over there. But we wanted to put out out a new release for our fans this summer. EPisode II is the result. We went back and remastered all the songs off the original EP, we remixed "Send Me A Photograph" and "Smile", added a brand new track from the Japanese edition of the album, "It's Alright", and threw in a few surprises. We upgraded the packaging, the cd design, and the artwork, and most importantly, we updated the cartoons ;-). And while supplies last, you get a brand new FREE promotional poster with the purchase of the new cd. (regularly $3.99) Right now the cd is only available at our shows and at Rock Dreams in Mercerville, NJ, but within the next week or two it will be available for purchase on Amazon.com and CDbaby.com. Also available at our upcoming shows starting August 10, are brand new LUZER shirts. Our schedule page is all up to date, and we'll be adding new shows as we get all the details finalized in the next few weeks.
Anyways, as many of you know, we've been on the road with The Mahoney Brothers for the last month or so, and we've been having a blast. We just put up two all new sets of pics, one following us on the road in July, and another set of newly discovered pics spanning from late 2000 up until this past winter. We're trying some new formats to view the pictures, including a cool slideshow screen saver, so be sure to check those out over at the pics page. As promised, we'll have a bunch of additions to our video page up by next week as well. Oh and one last thing, when you pick up your brand new copy of Fake Ass Rock Star EPisode II, be sure to keep an eye open for some info on a hidden page on the site that will be featuring some very cool goodies by summer's end. Until next time, spread the love, spread the rock....
FIRST, thanks go out to everyone that made the 1st (hopefully) Annual LIVESTOCK a complete success, the Ellis Family, Officer Bob, John Bailey, Eric Croux and Hot Ish Entertainment, the opening acts, Butterworth Bog and Zero To Hero (you guys both rocked), and especially everyone who came out when the weather wasn't looking so great and who stuck around to see our whole set. You guys were possibly the best crowd we've ever played to, seriously. Anyways, some pics will be popping up on our pics page in the next few days once we get a chance to sort through all of em and pick out the cool shots. In the meantime we just archived all of our 2002 pics. Since we've been posting up so many pics, its been taking forever to load them all, so now you can just check out each gig's shots. We also dug up some old pics from some of those shows, so be sure to visit all the old pages (the S.S. Studio session shots, Katmandu, and the May pics in particular). We're on the road the next two days playing a couple private shows, but we'll be back early next week with some new updates on the summer releases, along with some long overdue updates to the video page and possibly a sneak peak at a couple of songs from the "Vinyl Junkie Sessions". Stay tuned...
Hey everyone, you all were asking for more pics on the site, so we're putting up everything we've got from the past month. There's already a mess of new ones over on the pics page, with more on the way. Plus we'll have a bunch of pics up next week from tomorrow's LIVESTOCK. We'll be trying out our stage set for the summer tour for the first time there, and its FREE, so you should all come out and have a good time. We'll also be playing pretty much every song in the LUZER catalogue, and possibly an encore with a special appearance of an old friend. It will really be HAMILTON ROCK CITY Satuday night, so be sure to stop on out at Ellis Farms. Visit the schedule page for directions and more info.
Well, the rumors are true. LUZER will be headlining the first annual Livestock Music Festival this Saturday, June 15th, at Ellis Farms right here in our hometown of Hamilton. Other acts scheduled to appear include Butterworth Bog and Zero To Hero. This FREE show starts at 7 pm, with LUZER scheduled to start their set at 9. Ellis Farms is located at 214 Sawmill Rd. in Yardville, NJ. Click here to get directions. Bring your friends, bring some food, bring some drinks, its gonna be a cool time. Finally, Chris picked up a 1980 Rickenbacker bass today, so if you want to see that bad boy for the first time in a LUZER performance, stop on by Saturday night. Spread the word. Spread the love. Hope to see you all there.
Sorry for the lack of news page updates everyone, but we've been hard at work rehearsing, working on stage production, and getting together the special edition cd of Fake Ass all ready for the summer tour. Also, I PROMISE to get some new pics up from our shows in May as soon as possible. In the meantime isn't that new logo up ther on the menu pretty bad ass??? If anyone out there wants to submit any logo's for the site send them here with the subject LUZER LOGO SUBMISSION. Finally, we ordered some new stickers for the summer tour that we all hope you guys will like. We hope to see those babies plastered all over your cars as proud members of the LUZER ARMY. We'll be back this week with news on a very cool upcoming gig right here in our hometown. Until then...
Hey everyone. We just got added on to the bill for the
Seville show (1/2 of Dashboard Confessional) at KROME in South Amboy this Friday the 10th. We need as many of our Jersey fans to come and support us so we'll be able to play there in the future. Check out our schedule page for more info or email us for tickets. After a weekend off we're back on the road this weekend. Again stay tuned to our schedule page for up to date tour dates.
Wow, does it feel great to get back on the road again. After basically being locked in the studio for the last few months, its nice to get out in front of some live audiences again. We just got in from Connecticut, and are heading out early tomorrow (actually today) for DC, but we just wanted to thank all of you who have been coming out to see us. We had a chance to play at the legendary Club 66 last week where the likes of Foghat, Badfinger, and Artimus Pyle and Lynyrd Skynyrd have all perfomed. That was a real blast. We're having a great time, and you guys have been great audiences. And for those of you who haven't made it out yet, stay tuned to our schedule page and hopefully we'll be making our way to a town near you. Hope to see you all soon!
First we'd just like to thank everyone who came out to Katmandu last Wednesday. We were told we broke records with attendance, and we have all of you to thank. We had a great time, and we hope to perform there again in a few months. In the meantime we have some new pics up from Cedar Gardens and Katmandu, so stop on over there to check those out. Oh, and as some of you may have noticed, we finally upgraded the site, so there's no more annoying ads on the top of the pages and we'll be able to do a lot more cool things with the site (like that nifty fading pages trick). Until next time, keep on rockin' out...
Hey everyone. Just a reminder about tomorrow's show at Katmandu in Trenton. We will be going on at 8 pm sharp. Its only 5 bucks, and its all ages, so bring the kiddies. We'll be playing songs off Greatest Hits and The Fake Ass Rock Star EP, and we'll have our brand new baseball t's for sale too. So stop on by, a good time will be had by all. Rock out...
By popular demand, check out our updated pics page for some shots from our hometown show at Cedar Gardens from February 16. We've got a few more pictures we're going to dig up this week, but in the meantime there's more than a dozen pics for all of you crazy cats to enjoy. More to come soon...
Hey everyone. First we'd just like to thank everyone who came out to see us at Cedar Gardens. The show was a complete success, and a sell out, and we all had a blast. We're looking forward to going on tour with the Mahoney Brothers later this year. Also, as promised, we have a whole mess of new pics to get up on the site in the next few days, but we've all been busy in the studio working on a very special project for release this summer. We'll keep you all up to date on that in the coming months. Finally, our schedule page is up to date, and we our looking forward to another hometown performance (well, close enough to our hometown) at the end of the month at Katmandu in Trenton. We'll be going on at 8 pm, and our excited to be playing with another great local talent, Herd of Blues. We are also currently working on new videos, that will be appearing on the site in the next few weeks, so stay tuned for that as well. Finally, check out our page on mp3.com for the BRAND NEW LUZER SONG "IT'S ALRIGHT" and also check out our updated merchandise page for all new products including red and black baseball t's (which will be available for a limited time at our upcoming gigs) and also the official LUZER.musicpage.com mousepad.
Same band, new year. First, we'd like to wish everyone a kick ass new year in 2002...damn, '92 really doesn't feel like 10 years ago. Anyways, onto some official LUZER news. Yesterday the first copies of our cd's arrived in stores in Japan. We'll have more news on that in the coming weeks, but in local news, we will be performing for the first time i neraly six months in our hometown of Hamilton, New Joisey, on February 16 at Angeloni's Cedar Gardens. We'll be playing with the Mahoney Brothers, and tickets are now available at Rock Dreams on Rt. 33. Also now available at Rock Dreams is The Fake Ass Rock Star EP. Appearantly people have been asking for the LUZER II cd over there...go figure. So if you're still looking to get your hands on a copy of the limited edition first pressing of The Fake Ass Rock Star EP, stop on over to the Mercerville Shopping Center. (conveniently located next to McDonalds and across the street from Applebee's) And finally, as promised, the pics page will be updated shortly with pics from our Holiday Vacation. Until next time, rock out cubscouts.
