CrossOver's Band Of The Month Feature |
|
Linkin Park, a band formerly known as Hybrid Theory, are a great mixture of funk and emotions. They have some really cool grooves that let you just follow the beats until the songs over. Linkin Park is much like Incubus and Stabbing Westward combined. They have great turntable loops and a marvelous layout for their choruses and guitar riffs. They have great rhythm when the lead singer sings and blends with the keyboarding so that it all sounds great together. These guys have a real talent to deliver heavy riffs during the chorus, and still maintain the heavy composer that they have set out to do. They don’t totally have rhymes, but more like they flow good and come across with a good vibe. The singer is great at singing the chorus but during each verse he sings but in a different way, almost talking, making the group even more phenomenal. There is something truly different about Linkin Park, and words simply cannot explain it. They are like none other, although share some characteristics with other bands. These guys are coming from the underground out to show the crossover world what it’s all about, Linkin Park style! Back To Review Main |
