The debut album of Linkin Park comes at a time where music is pretty much at a standstill. Do we bring back 80's glam? Will the Seattle rage once again take the world by storm? Hell will disco resurface? There is no immediate answer where music is going, but there is a band from Los Angeles that if I had a dime for everytime I played a song from the Hybrid Theory album, I would not have to work again.

It has been a long time in coming that a mix of hard crunching vocals (both lead and background), mesmorizing guitar work, and insightful lyrics have hit the music scene. This album combines all that a hard rock or glam rock fan or even your hip hop fans would neccesitate for their enjoyment. The vocals from Shinoda and Bennington capture you into wanting to listen to what the band has to say in its lyrics. The lyrics are strong and meaningful. Something that we haven't seen in a long time. Close your eyes and listed to what they say, you will find a place in your life where this all makes sense. You will find yourself hitting repeat on tracks like Pushing Me Away, In the End and One Step Closer. We have all been there, we will all be back.

Brad Delson knows how to impress even the the minute fans of rock music. His abilities outweight just about all of the competition that is currently in recording. His talent incarcerates you into the "Theory" that Linkin Park wants you to be captured.

One key to every band is their drummer. He is on, the band rocks, in Linkin Park Rob Bourdon is more than on. You are looking at the talent of John Bonham revived from the dead to take another shot at this music thing. Strong drums riffs and mastered fill ins make this album one that must me seen live to probably truly appreciate the talent from the man behind the kit.

Something rarely seen in rock music is the addition of DJ Joe Hahn. His mixing of hip-hop, rock music and incorporating the technology that everyone is using creates a sound that is unmatched. To hear a finished song from Linkin Park is to take a tour to what music is all about. What those African musicians banging on the drums way back in time wanted music to be all about.

Hybrid Theory is an album that will take the music scene by storm. Napster fans will stop their downloading and run out to their record stores to purchase the Warner Brother's release, I should know, I did. Listening to "Theory" makes you wonder how long the wait will be till we see something new from these guys. The talent that consumes them leaves you wanting more. With the tour in support of Hybrid Theory, this album is almost certain to go Platinum, go out and grab it now, say you had it before they got big, grab that diamond in the rough, you will be gald that you did.
