.Concert Review.

March 12th: Wilkes-Barre

Well first of all, let me say AMAZING concert. I originally went to see Lifehouse, although I'm a fan of Matchbox Twenty, and Everclear (sort of), it was overall an excellent show. When my sister and I got there, 2 hours before it started, we were hanging out in the car, when 2 other people pulled up and parked next to us. We got talking and found out that one of them had won backstage passes from a radio show (not even meaning to!) and that was the only reason they were there. Anyways, we talked for a lot longer, got to know their names..and other random information, and they said they were going to try their best to get us backstage as well. Well of course my sister and I were all hyped and everything, but as luck would have it, it didn't happen. Melanie and Matt (the 2 people) got us autographs and they're going to send us backstage pictures. Anyways though, the concert: Lifehouse went on first, and played for roughly a half hour. The order of songs went:

Cling and Clatter
Somebody Else's Song
Quasimodo
Sick Cycle Carousel
Hanging By A Moment

They were really actually incredible for the amount of time they had on stage. They got the audience going, even though you could tell 90% of them had no clue as to who they were. I was real excited seeing them perform. They had a cool backdrop which was a huge picture of the cover of No Name Face. Everclear also put on an awesome show. They were on for about an hour, and they really interacted with the audience. Well just about 15 minutes before Matchbox Twenty was going to go on, Melanie came over to our seats and told us to go with her, so we followed her to the sound place, where I met Stuart Mathis. (It's no Jason Wade, but hey, he'll do) :) We talked for a while, and he re-signed my cd, only cause he didn't know he already did, but he was really nice. He stayed out there to watch Matchbox Twenty's lightshow, which was, by the way, really neat. They played for just about 2 hours, and put on such a great show. Anyone who has the chance to see this tour, it is highly recommended that you do!
