The debut track from the Popstars band sounds exactly like the musical offspring of All Saints and Oasis, with the intro from Never Ever and the chorus from the Gallaghers' All Around The World.

But with their soulful vocals the band have given a lift to the song - which was originally written for GirlThing - and I reckon they will be heading straight to the top of the charts.

The song, which was performed for the first time at the Brits on Monday, is not released until March 12 but I am giving lucky Bizarre readers a chance to listen to it before then.

The Girls have recovered from the "Pure and Simple" blow and have now released a single in Australia and Asia called "Young Free and Happy" It can also be found on their album which you can download here by the way! Is'nt it a lovely pic of them on the cover?

A nice little UK tabloid had a pic of Rich & Jodi arm-in-arm ...of course, they conveniently cut-out another member of Girl Thing who was hanging onto Rich's other arm. See how these things work?

Girl Thing To Mum Thing February 12, 2001

Girl Thing's Linzi Martin is to become a mum -- but won't reveal who the father is. The blonde singer has been keeping her secret under wraps -- and is already five months pregnant.

She says, "It's been a bit of a shock but now I'm really excited as are my family and partner. Im going to take it a lot easier for a while."

The news is sure to fuel speculation that her band's days are numbered.

According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, a source says, "They really need a big hit to survive and now with Linzi pregnant they'll be hard-pressed to achieve that."

4 Feb 2001 - Some girl who calls herself fairy_princess_emzy says Girl Thing has split up, she had no evidence to back it up at all, so don't worry. If Girl Thing arehaving trouble with their management or record compony, I am sure they will stick together and sort it out. They do not look like a bunch of quiters to me.

Is this guy the biggest wannabe in show biz at the moment, or is he really dating Jodi Albert? Personally I don't think it's true, I have no idea where the rumour came from, but it's true that Ben from A1 IS IN FACT SEEING SOMEONE ELSE! NOT JODI. When asked who is his fave female in the music biz he said "I think Louise Nurding, Keavy from B*witched and Sarah Michelle Gellar are amazing!" He did not even mention Jodi! Ok so no one knows what happened to Girl Thing. They seem to be on holiday, even though they are probably hard at work perfecting some new songs and dance routine's. The will be Playing at the HitKrankt awards on 18 Feb, in Holland.

I don't know if any one you saw this before, but nude pics of Girl Thing, specially Jodi,have been showing up on the internet! The Girls have been informed about this.

So you wanna have sex is being sold on www.amazonco.uk and it says the official release date it 26 Feb 2001. My theory is Young Free and Happy will be released in Asia, because they will not tolerate a name like "so you wanna have sex"

The New Single will be out on 22 Jan and it will be called "Young, Free and happy" even though this might jsut be a rumour seeing as the video's not been aired yet, so it might be Feb. Michelle told me in her e-mail that the single will be out in Jan.

A1 singer Ben Adams has been secretly dating Jodi Albert. Onlookers in trendy London PapaGaio bar as saying "They set and chatted and had few drinks when they first walked in. After a while, it was obvious they were getting on really well and it was no surprise when they started kissing. After that, there was no stopping there. They snogged for ages and were both clearly have a good night. They were all over each other."

Record label bosses have played down the news in an attempt to stop the army of girl A1 fans believing their beloved Ben is lost forever. Thus a spokesman for A1 says, "It's not very serious at the moment, Ben is just playing the field." We wonder if Jodi knows that!
