Fade*213 began late June 2001, by coming out of nowhere and taking the event showcase and fans of other formost popular bands in the local south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Most people ask us, what does Fade*213 mean? Well it means alot, each of us have our own special meaning for the names. June was arrested for robbery at the Mattson Best Buy under the police code *213. The cd he had stolen had the title Faded, which we took fade and *213 and put them together to form Fade*213. Maverick on the other hand say that we all had differnet tastes of music which faded into one sound, which we is the way we sound, teenage white yuppie conformist emo punk rock music, well you can call it what you want but it sure is different Maverick also says that the *213 is the number of times Fuck is said in the movie South Park. Joe-Thug has no comment as well as Matt, they stil are yet to release there meaning of the name. Fade*213 has released their first full length album "FRESHMAN LIFE" under their manager Raymond Dignan and on their independent label, WASTED GLORY RECORDS. We have come a long way from being the little local band from Chi-town, and now emerging onto the forground of pupular music today. We also have been sponsored by many people. Fade was the last band to ever play at Sputnik Coffee House, which was also the first place they ever played, for those of you who remember it was september 27, 2001 on a rainy monday night. Well since then we have taken off to stardom. Fade is currently working on a record deal with a record company in chicago.
