Part One:
Chapter Three

*Nevada's Point Of View*

I put on my shoes at 2pm, and waited by the front door. All three of my sisters were standing by me, complaining.

"Neve, I can't believe you're making me stay home all day with these brats." 15-year-old Jaz yelled. She had to babysit the other two.

"We can't believe you get to dance with Nick Carter and you won't let us meet him!" 10-year-old Lexi whine, and 8-year-old Marley agreed.

"The Backstreet Boys don't have time to waste meeting two little brats like you." Jaz told them.

"I don't know girls, we'll see when they get here." I told my sisters, who were huge BSB fans.

At exactly 2:38pm a large green truck pulled into my driveway.

"Alright, he's here. I'll go ask them if you can meet them." I told them.

Nick got out of the truck and started walking toward the house. I opened the door and stepped out.

"Yo, Neve, how are you?" he called to me, still walking closer.

"I'm great, and you?" I asked him, pulling him into a hug.

"Awesome." he replied.

"Um, my little sisters are wondering if they can come out and meet you?" I asked him.

"Oh course, I'll go get Brian, tell them to come out." he smiled back and walked back over to the truck.

So I went back to the house and brought the two of them out. I told them to stay calm, and don't freak out too much. They were both giggling when Nick and Brian walked back over to us.

"Nick, Brian, these are my little sisters, that's Marley and that's Lexi." I introduced them.

"Nice to meet you girls." Nick grinned, and Brian agreed, nodding.

Neither of my sisters spoke. Well, I guess that's better than them screaming.

"Uh, they're huge fans." I laughed.

They shook their hands, and then I said, "Well, we better... go."

"Yeah, we'd better. See ya later girls." Brian agreed.

They both waved as we got into the truck and drove away.

"They are so cute. How old are they?" Nick asked me.

"10 and 8... our Dad is out of town on business, so that's actually the reason I'm in town. Usually I'd be off somewhere with my friends, or out of town, dancing. But my other sister Jaz and I are taking care of them til Friday." I explained.

"Oh, so we're lucky you're here to dance with us, huh?" Nick asked me with a smile, and I just nodded.

We got to the studio at 2:57pm, right on time. Everyone was already there. The three other guys, AJ, Kevin and Howie, four other female dancers, Michelle, Daniella, Sarah and Tobie, and five other guy dancers, Titus, Robbie, Ron, Luke and Jamie. And Fatima and Mike were there, also.

"Hey great, everyone's here!" Fatima yelled. "Alright, 15 minute warm-up, then we're getting started!" she continued.

That day was long. Really long. We danced non-stop, until about 6pm. Then we had a half hour break, then another hour of dancing. We fooled around alot, though. It was practically 8pm when we were done. Nick and I were doing good. And I was loving it.

"Good work today, everyone. Tomorrow only the BSB and their girl dancers have to come. Your guys can have a day off." Fatima told the other guy dancers. They looked happy about that. They loved to dance, but everyday for hours after hours, it got tiring.

"Nick and Neve, you're doing awesome, but I recommend you stay again tonight, even for just a little while." Fatima told Nick and I. Nick grinned at me cutely.

"No problem, we're staying again." Nick told her.

"Great." she replied.

So everyone else packed up and left again, leaving us alone, again.

"Wanna take a short break before we start?" I asked Nick.

"Yeah..." he replied, smiling.

We sat down on the couch, next to each other. I looked into his eyes, and he blinked.

"Neve, can I ask you something?" he whispered, and I nodded. "Why'd you kiss me yesterday, I mean...." he said.

"Oh, Nick, it was just a friendly kiss. I'm sorry." I appologized.

"No, it's ok. I was just wondering." he said.

"Alright... so, did you like it?" I asked, curious.

"The kiss...?" he asked. "Of course I did."

"Well, good." I finished.

"Neve, I think you're gorgeous, and sweet, and funny... you're perfect." he told me, still whispering.

"Thank you, but..." I blushed.

"No... no buts. That's the truth." he stated cutely.

"Whatever... you're the one selling like a billion records a year." I told him. He smiled.

"The concert on Friday is going to rock!" he replied, changing the subject.

"Well, not if we don't practise." I jumped up. "C'mon." I pulled him up off the couch.

We went to start dancing just a few minutes later. Nick was singing as we danced. He was so good. We'd been dancing for awhile, but it really didn't seem like too long.

Suddenly Nick's cell rang and cut Nick off mid-sentence. He'd been singing the words to Don't Wanna Loose You Now. He stopped, stepped back and pulled out his cell phone.
