Passing of an icon

A dear friend of ours and long time supporter of the music past from us February 21. Kit Nash was an icon among the many groups within the Irish community. The services and attendance reflected this status. The speakers, homily, choir, music, and services were a fitting tribute to his life, largely due to the coordinating brilliance of Tom Wiseman. But it was Kit's continued determination to preserve the original culture, not the shamrocks or the leprechauns, that touched all of our lives and made us all feel so welcome. We will miss you Kit.
